I didn't care for them before and just want more Chai An but now I feel bad for DYX because he wants so much to have a life with his gentle wife and feels he must give her up for her own good.

I actually felt sad for him in a way. I felt he loved the FL in his way but greed for power and status let him to try to kill her. It is not really a spoiler as this is revealed at the start. He was her husband at the start. WXY was outstanding as Duke Su.

I will look for more Kdramas like this one but my problem with Kdramas in the past is that is starts out looking like something I want to watch then it switches to some crazy scenes with screaming maniacs and deranged characters. I am glad this one has stayed on its course. My only disappointment with it is that for 12 episodes it shouldn't have been so slow for them to get together. The times we could see them holding hands and getting to know each other was so good but not enough.

I am also giving this story the benefit of the doubt. And considering yesterday I was sitting her bored with them and couldn't wait for them to move on to the next couple while bringing back more Chai An and Kang Ning.

I am sitting here laughing because I felt bad I didn't like Shuohua's story because her match was boring me. Today I finally start to feel sad for what he felt he had to do while loving Shuohua and I come in here to see some of my viewing buddies are so mad at him 🤣

I am going to have to make an effort to remove him from my mind as the ex husband in The Double!

I was wondering if that was his father but it is creepy because the daughter wants DYX.

Did we find out who his mother was? LOL! I was focused today. I know his mother said she failed her lady in raising the young master.

I was feeling disappointed that the drama seems to be focusing on one couple at a time but I wonder if there is something that will bring them all to the front. I am going to trust that it will give me what I want. I will say I found Shuohua's story boring at first be cause Du Yangxi doesn't have the charisma that Chai An has but today's episode was emotional.

But isn't he doing this so when he divorces her people will blame him? Yesterday I was hoping we could move on from this couple but today I am starting to feel for them.

Now that Kang Ning is so unhappy for her sister, Chai An is going to do everything he can to help.

I felt the same but it is picking up again. Just give it a chance. If you are like me, you are looking for more of Chai An and Kang Ning. Hopefully we see more of them later but I am growing more fond of the Li family as the drama moves forward.

I was losing interest due to Shuahua' story but now I have to say, I was glued to the screen watching today's episodes.

I was like you where the interest was concern but now I am well invested in Shouhua's story. Just watch and you see that he is not "unredeemable." He is doing this because he loves her. Just watch. The word "unredeemable" has been thrown around concerning the MLs in this drama. I am not saying by you, but it is unfortunate that some such as those who wrote the negative reviews are purposely trying to put down Perfect Match.

Seeing them together is what he wanted so much for the future, but he was so afraid it was not to be. I was tense watching him and knowing why he was unhappy. I hope there is a good dose of happiness for the trio in the last 2 episodes.But they will probably leave that for the last episode. I imagine ep 10 will deal with the Ji Yun processing the news about her father and there needs to be a resolution to her problem with the evil woman. Sorry, I am so bad with names 🤣

Good observations! His character as a devoted father is one of the main reasons I decided to watch this. For only 12 episodes, it would have been nice to have seen more of the leads with Byeol. There are some wonderful moments but not enough. Ep 9 was wonderful and from the preview to ep 10, it will move along nicely for the leads. There are only 3 episodes left and I hope they don't spend too much time on the business than on their relationship with Byeol included.

I watched this while it was airing but I sometimes stop by because this is one of my favorite dramas. Pei Wen Xuan was my favorite character. It was a pleasure to see your comment. But then I scrolled down to see people are still harping on the sml. It is too bad that is all some seem to see. Zhang Ling He's performance was amazing. I saw the different sides of PWX and enjoyed TPR to the point I would rewatch the episodes while waiting for more to be released.
