I can hardly wait as I am missing them more after seeing a video clip of Hello Saturday. I know you already started…
You posted a report last week about the July Maoyan online drama effective broadcast monthly list. The fact that TPR was #1 for the month of July shows the negative comments here are not a good indication of its success.

LOL! I keep going from "producer" to "director." The only video I saw was when one of them said they waited for ZLH to be available and they also mentioned Jin Mai's acting skills and speech delivery as factors for choosing her as the FL. I was surprised when I saw TPR was out as I didn't keep up with any of the news. I only added it to my list.

I am wary of open endings. I tell myself to wait till it is over. I can put up with flaws as long a there is a happy ending. There is usually a character people hate but I don't know if I have ever seen a drama get as much hate as TPR. I think people are more mad at the producer. It wasn't until after I finished TPR that I saw there was a trending topic about the producer. I am sure it affected the perspective of those watching TPR and not liking SRQ.

Yes. Marcus said the drama standings are based on their 7 day total points from Vlinkage. My comment was just to say that TPR is still doing well as it is #8 of the top 10. I felt the need to make this comment considering the bashing TPR has been getting in here and in another forum. We have all seen it.

I have been reading comments about ZLH's character in LR which makes me want to start it but I am still going to wait before getting into it. I rather not be tortured waiting for the next episode. I could not stop myself from starting TPR because of Mai Mai and ZLH but I wish I had held off and watched it on Netflix instead.

Marcus Here! is on youtube. He gives the reports on the web dramas and the tv dramas on Sundays. They are factual and based on Vlinkage as he explains every week.
Of the 10 dramas of the week, I have only watched TPR and knew of Love's Rebellion. I added The Best Day of My Life to my list after seeing it on Marcus Here and reading a review from a friend. I cannot recall the other names. All I know is that TPR was #1 while airing for weeks and happy to see it is still in the top 10.
Is it really better than 'Story of Kunning Palace'? That's a huge claim. But since I'm in a drama slump, I should…
Sigh...From the most he walked through the gates, I was entranced. I also loved him in the scene where he confronted his uncle. ZLH was amazing as PWX. I have so many favorite scenes in TPR and they are all with PWX 😍

I get you on wishing they had shown more of PWX's political side even though there were signs of this aspect of his character throughout. I also loved watching him in the last few episodes especially the march up the palace stairs. I have that scene featured at the top of my profile page.

I was only repeating what was reported in Marcus Here. I haven't seen Love's Rebellion and not bashing it. I am more saying TPR is still doing well in China to still be in the top 10 after airing. I didn't finish reading your comment after I saw where you were going with this. You are way off and you misunderstood me. I didn't post an opinion. It was reported by Marcus Here. He gives a weekly report on Sundays. This was last Sunday which puts Love's Rebellion at #10, The Best Day of My Life #9 The Princess Royal #8..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnfMp5ZCh28
I haven't started Love's Rebellion yet as I am not ready due to several reasons one of which is that I am on a trip. But I have read the comments in the Love's Rebellion forum and scrolled by many negative comments about TPR. I have never seen such hate directed at a drama. I enjoyed TPR and after all the negativity it is good to see it doing well in China. It was #6 last week and as time goes by, I am sure it will fall out of the top 10. And yes! I was happy to see it was still above 10!

TPR is enjoyable if you are convinced that LR loves PWX as I was. It takes her a long time to say it but I could see it in her actions. Notice the way she keeps asking him one way or the other if he will be with her always. And notice the way he assures her he will. PWX has the most beautiful lines. I loved him so much while watching.
But if you feel the same as the negative comments you read in Love's Rebellion, you will not like it. The negative comments are too focused on SRQ's screentime and I disagree that he got more time than the ML. I disagree that PWX was just a simp. Perhaps it would have been better if the drama explored his political side as in the book, but it was clear to me from his actions, words, and thoughts that PWX was not just a simp. He was a strategist. He was smart. He was brave. And he loved LR with all his heart and refused to let go the second time around.
