I agree. Jin Mai is one of my favorite actresses. I love how natural she is with her costars and I could definitely feel the chemistry with Wu Lei in AASOL. Reset was not heavy in romance but she was also great with BJT. I don't know where these comments are coming from. There are some actresses I find so awkward I cringe watching them but Jin Mai is wonderful to watch.

I did not find her awkward in AASOL. In the beginning she was shy but then they grew closer and I found her to be a natural actress and she made it believable. She is a pleasure to watch.
I want to wait for the airing to be completed and gonna binge watch in one go but those snippets and their chemistry…

No problem. Hope you enjoy ABAY and it is everything you expect it to be. I hope for Xu Kai it is a hit. He had so many dramas come out last year and now this one but it seems most did not do well. He is one of my favorites and loved him in Falling Into Your Smile. I love him but I do not give all his dramas 10s just because I like him. This is why I have been hoping for a really good drama for him.
The Double would not have been as good to me without WXY but that is my emotional side speaking. Otherwise, the acting of all the cast was awesome.

I don't think joas is saying she didn't watch TLEOTM. She is saying she also started The Princess Royal. When you say ep 34 is the finale for you, are you saying you don't watch further? I thought the ending shows happier leads if not together. And this is another reason I hesitate to watch. If I am going to see the angst that this drama is said to have, at least it should be a happy end with both reunited.

I am glad they are in agreement. I didn't want it to drag out too long. Thank you. I am trying to go slow with this. I wish I had the will power to stop at ep 2 before I get too deep into it and wait till more episodes are out. At the end of ep two they both realized that they are both in the same boat.

That is what I said. Kissing doesn't mean chemistry. More kisses does not mean the chemistry will be great. I watched RH and even though Jing Boran is great in kiss scenes, the chemistry did not feel right. I would rather see no kiss scenes than one that is not convincing because the actress looks awkward and uncomfortable. But as you say she looks natural with Xu Kai in the materials released maybe this will be better, and I hope ABAY meets all expectations.
As for the Double, it is popular for a reason. The actress was amazing in her role. WXY's performance as Duke Su made me love it even more. The chemistry was sizzling even without any kiss scenes. And the plot twists kept it interesting. Without much promotion, The Double is considered a dark horse which surpassed expectations for a low budget drama.
Yeah. I still believe he wanted to kill him off because he did not trust WJY and WXY would work as an onscreen…
Oh I noticed WXY long before The Double. I am not the only one. Perhaps some people have only seen him in The Double. In AASOL I wanted to see more of him and usually I am not so interested in the secondary leads.
