yeah🤣🤣i think i saw the different/ changes in ZJM's clothes and saw a beard on ZLH's face😆
Thank you for sharing. It looks amazing! It says “fantasy.” Mai Mai looks beautiful in this and I thrilled she will play this role.

I'm not really attracted to him...but I do really love his character's relationship with LYY and MXD.
I hope you do!

Exactly! Yet some viewers descibed him as a jerk. The beauty of L&P is that the FL sees through him. And for that I have seen comments that she lowered herself to him. They are not getting that she knows who he is and loves him even more. Oh, I can hardly talk about this drama without feeling emotional. There is nothing like it.

Title Road Home Spoiler
The chemistry in AASOL is different. Both leads in AASOL make it so real. I loved Jing Boran in Road Home and…
The time frame was confusing. I am sort of figuring it out on rewatch but they saw each other more than the drama revealed. As you could see in the flashback Yin Guo went back to see him for his birthday. I am also reading the book. I agree there are flaws in the way it was done but from what I understand 8 episodes were cut. I found Yin Guo mature from the start. She is only cute around LYY and I do see growth in the relationship where she goes from dodging his kisses to being the one who initiated them. As for looks, it doesn't bother me that they look the same. I am used to that as many of my family members in their 30s look like they are in their 20s.

But for me, I loved the chemistry and relationship more in AASOL. The FL in Road Home looks uncomfortable in intimate scenes. I cringe watching her even though in this one she looks like she is trying. Hopefully she has improved for her upcoming drama with Xu Kai but as one person commented, if it didn't work with Jing Boran, it is not going to work with Xu Kai. And I love Xu Kai so I hoping it does work for me to like that drama.

It is good that you enjoyed Road Home. I liked it on first watch because of Jing Boran. It was so refreshing at the time so to see a ML was such passion. Since then the trend seems to be more passionate scenes in Cdramas than the fake kisses what were the norm.

I am hoping so much!!! I fell in love with MXD and want more of him.

L&P will be in my heart forever. It is the couple who captured my heart. The ML seems tough and rebellious but you can also see the pain and love in a yearning way when he looks at the FL. The FL had an easy life growing up in contrast to the ML but they are comfortable together. They fit. And their chemistry sizzles throughout the drama. It is their journey through pain, obstacles, loss with a love that never faltered that captivated me. It is the way they fit together. ..It is their understanding of each other...I cannot explain their chemistry because there is nothing like it. But you will not be swooning through the drama the way you did in AASOL . The ML does not openly pursue the FL and he does not flirt the way LYY did with Yin Guo. But his gaze... that yearning that comes from the depth of his heart is what you will see. What I see in common with both dramas is that both Mai Mai and Jing Yi are such natural actresses who make it real. In some romance, I feel they FLs are not comfortable in those intimate scenes for it to be believable. Jing Yi is especially amazing with chemistry.

AASOL was feel good most of the way. I loved it too. I loved it a lot as everyone could see! LOL!

Wait! I am reading the synopsis. "Husband and wife for 30 years..." I supposed this is one of those dramas nobody ages.

Well not everyone loves it. Some get turned off by the ML at the beginning because he appears cold but if you look closely, you will see he has a tender heart for the FL. It is all revealed. It starts a little weird and I wanted to fast forward to see where it was going during the first episode because I was confused. There is angst. But there is also a love that endured the tough times and a happy ending. And you might think the ML is uncaring of the FL but you will see he helps her in his own way and she understands him and sees through his actions. There are some annoying characters but I fast-forward on rewatch. What I loved was the chemistry and the actress Jing Yi is one of my top favorites. L&P is calling me again but I am trying to resist as I watched for the third time last August. I want to watch it on my next vacation break.

They really do 😍
Let's. hope it is a quick release. The ones that take years are the ones that were held back due to issues with the cast or director such as with SOKP. Right?

We all have our preferences. Not everything is perfect. One big annoying scene in Road Home was when the FL pulled the curtain on the ML to nurse her baby. And the scene with their baby was not right. I could not feel the bond and then she went and pulled the curtain. My only issue with AASOL was that it left us hanging with MXD and Lin Lin's story. I really want to see him in a sequel. Otherwise, I absolutely loved AASOL and cannot move on as yet.

Me too! It is going to take you a while to get to where the couple are together in SOKP but it will be worth it. I liked WXY in SOKP but it will not fill that need to see him the way he was in AASOL. For me the only drama that comes to mind to help me move on from AASOL is Lighter and Princess. As I have said many times before that I am sure people rolling their eyes by now, Jin Mai and Zhang Jing yi are so good with the natural way they bond with their ML's. I loved the way Mai Mai played her part especially when she showed concern for LYY and fussed over him when he was sick. Jing Yi is similar in that she will throw her arms around her ML's and give them the biggest heartfelt hug and will convince you they love each other. I find that lacking in many dramas.

That was what I thought. Both LYY and Jiang Yang gave MXD the look that said enough of this nonsense. Then nothing. I don't know if they cut their scenes because it seemed that they took a long time to get them to even see each other which was at the airport when MXD picked up Yin Guo. It was obvious he did it so he could see Lin Lin. But after a while, I got the feeling they were not going to give us much more. It wasn't until ep 29 I think it was that I thought finally MXD would address his relationship with Lin Lin. They didn't even tell us why they broke up. But they kept us in suspense.

All I know is from the book where Yin Guo said Lin Lin didn't want the "disease" of the championship world to affect Yin Guo and LYY's relationship the way it did for her and MXD. There is a translation issue so I am not sure what "disease" means. But there are some meaningful exchanges between MXD and Lin Lin such as when he told her, " I will always be here..." They were talking about him competing but I got the feeling he meant he will always be there for her to see or watch or just there. He has never had a relationship with another woman. Obviously, Lin Lin is the only woman he wants.

Watching Amidst a snowstorm of Love made me miss this series & so I found myself rewatching this again. The ML…
I tried to rewatch at one time because I remember liking Jing Boran. But to me the chemistry was lacking especially in the intimate scenes. I loved Wu Lei's gazes in AASOL. I keep rewatching AASOL but with Road Home I watched it once. But I do agree that Jing Boran has a certain magnetism that kept me watching.

This might be a long stretch but there is something in the ending that might indicate a spin off....
Even though MXD just disappeared after the competition and was not at the proposal scene, he appeared in the final scene. I got the feeling his character was featured because there might be a spin off with his storyline. It is strange they left his story with Lin Lin hanging.

Why didn't they give up more and why didn't they resolve MXD and Lin Lin's issue? I still gave this drama a 10 because any drama that makes me want to keep rewatching is a 10.
