I only watch romance dramas and I was pulled in right away. But around ep 4 or 5 you will see him actively pursue her. He gets things in line so he can be with her. You might like it more then. For me LYY's gaze when he looks at Yin Guo is enough to keep me interested.

They are all so good looking.

LLTG is on my near rewatch list. One my favorite scene is Lusi's performance when pushed through the guards to save her guy from a beating.
