Okay. I find him cute the way he does and I even feel bad for him sometimes. But there are times I see him smiling even when she runs off because he knows her best and knows he is getting somewhere. I rather not feel bad for him, but I do when I see that she broke his heart. It must have been painful as he said when he went to the US and did not see her for 8 years.

Because he knows she loves him. He is trying to get back with her. You can see the smile on his face after she runs off because he senses that she still loves him and it is only a matter of time before she admits it. Today we see that in ep 19.
I feel so bad for him too. I also wondered if he has had a break as it seems he has been going from one drama to the next. The first time I heard about the anti fans, I thought it sounded too much like what happens in the dramas with bad publicity causing netizens to cause havoc. But I read an article about this. Xu Kai will get through it all. He has a huge fan base that adores him. His eyes alone won many hearts because they are so expressive. He says so much with them.
