Ha! Ha! I am where she is starting to feel guilty about not telling him and Shan Shan is telling her to wait until he loves her so much he will not want to let her go. It is a bit frustrating that this has dragged on so long and yet she still does not know she has the wrong uncle. But it is so sweet now that they are together and the way Shi Yan is so attentive to her. The other couples are interesting too. I am up to ep 24 now, and so far I have been thrilled with watching Dylan Wang the CEO. He is so cute with his niece also.

I am up to ep 23 and I don't get the negative comments here unless I am missing something. The lead couple are so good to watch and the secondary couples are sweet.

I think it was more of dependency relationship where they both shared a bond living in the house with a controlling mother. He is used to protecting the FL. They both care for each other. He is not the bad guy people seem to think he is. Oh I just noticed you asked this question 3 weeks ago so you must be finished by now.

It is a beautiful love story if you look beyond the surface to understand why the FL is the way she is. She truly loves the ML and vice versa. The ending is beautiful but we do not get to see a wedding.

She lost her parents in a fire and was sent to an orphanage. She was mocked and bullied by her peers for suddenly becoming poor. When she was taken in by her present family she tried to be perfect for the mother in fear that should would be sent back to the orphanage. Eventually, she will find out what her mother did to Song Yan and you will see what she does.

Once you come to understand her background and her fear of losing the only family she had after her parents died, you will understand. I also read the book. Her decision to become a doctor was based on her need to succeed and be independent.

I loved this show. There was a lot of negativity toward the show from anti fans who looked for everything they could find to nit pick. I am glad you liked it.

Wang Chu Ran is one of my favorite actresses. I hope we see more of her.
