I popped in just to read some comments. I am trying not to start until more episodes are out and I still have Glory to watch. I see you are here already!

The first couple episodes of SOM did not grab me but on rewatch they make sense now. The drama ended up to be such a beautiful story. It is slow burn but in another sense, I felt the chemistry before they were officially together. Give it another try one day when you are in a drama slump. It has the most satisfying ending I wish other dramas would have. I am partial to see the leads as a married couple with children.

And this is the reason I will not rewatch My Sunshine. My mother highly recommended it. She has a friend who watched it several times. My mother is not impressed with the good looks of ZLH, SWL, and all the younger actors😂 Actually, the dramas she watches now have no subtitles.I don't even know those actors.

Oh that would have been so great to see the reunion of Yusen mother and her father. I hoped that would have been included.

The sml showed up here and there and I was so frustrated with him in ep 12 but he is not the focus. He is there for a reason as there is a strong message about gender roles and equality as well as social status in society and relationships.

It was Luo and Janice's cp that kept me watching. I loved it. I don't understand why the older version of the FL was so badly dressed. Her hair was awful and her wardrobe was the worse I have ever seen. Wallace is favorite of my mother who prefers more mature dramas. He is good actor. I loved Yang Yang in Love O2O.

They spent time together even before they were officially together. I feel they were a couple ever since he caught her and took her to the hospital.

I love both Speed and Love and Shine on Me. They are different. Each have a unique chemistry. I don't compare them.

Don't worry. It is a beautiful drama with a satisfying HE.

My ranking would be
1. Shine on Me and YAMG ( I agree!)
2. Love O2O (but the fl is so stiff in the kiss scenes)
3.Boss and Me
4. My Sunshine (last because of the FL's visuals and styling. I wanted to cry when she wore the tacky tshirt she wore to register the marriage a second time. Literally, I screamed, "NOOOO!")

It happened in Our Generation too. I was so disappointed. But with SOM, we got to see their married life with daughter and all so it helps. Have you seen Shine on Me? You wouldn't believe what they did to the beautiful wedding that was to be. I had to search for deleted scenes to fill the hole. And when I saw them, I was even more frustrated they cheated us out of the happy wedding.
Edited: I see you haven't watched SAL yet. Don't let me turn you off it as it was so beautiful to watch. I keep rewatching the scenes. The chemistry is amazing, and the ending is cute, but I wanted more of the wedding. You can watch the reels for the deleted scenes.

I think some are misinterpreting Xi Gua's response to her Yusen in the final the final episode. She was not shy kissing him! She was playing with him.

It seems to be the trend to cut out the guests from the wedding. I would have loved to have seen the family including the dad showing how proud he was of his daughter.

I am so glad they included ep 36.
