I don't know if I will ever rewatch Boss and Me because dramas have changed since I first started watching. Boss and Me is on Netflix and was one of my first Cdramas. It made me laugh and I watched it a few times but now I don't want to. I rather watch YAMG. To me, YAMG is classic. I am never watching My Sunshine again because the FL's styling was torture. She even got a disaster of a haircut somewhere in the drama that made her look even worse. If it wasn't for the fact that their college years were played by two different actors and for some reason the FL was dressed so much better, I wouldn't have finished it.

I hope you enjoy SOM the way I did. Both SOM and YAMG are on my rewatch list.

The first thing I did when I woke up this morning was to watch ep 36 again. I finished all episodes on Wednesday but haven't had the time to watch again. It is such a beautifully satisfying final episode. It tells us where they are today and looks back on their dreams in the past. It shows us much more but I will not spoil it for all who haven't watched it yet. This is the most satisfying ending to a drama. I have to think if there were other dramas this good. I love seeing Yusen and Xigua as couple with a family. The final episode wraps up the themes of gender roles and equality, as well as career goals and dreams.

He is not in every episode. You will see him here and there. In ep 12 there is a lot of him and her college friends. There are no romantic couple time between them.

I am waiting too. I loved that SOM gave us married life including the parent stage. I wish all dramas would do that. Why film such beautiful happy scenes and not include them?

I dislike sad open endings. I also never enjoy romance with that actress so now I don’t bother to add her dramas even if I love the ML.
