finally finished the drama. it took me a few tries to finally binge it. people got to understand this story is a pure friendship - to - lover story. I laughed and smiled thru most episodes. there’s no real angst even with the work storylines. there’s very touching moments that made me tear up a few times, but the only truly sad moment was not related to either leads, and it was toward the end. if you’re someone who prefer stories with real up and downs, angst, jealousy or corruption, this story is is not that. I’d say Shine on Me has more angst, which is to say something!
when I started the drama I was truly depressed and when I finished it, I was very happy. I reccomend it for anyone who want something healing. it’s not perfect, but it’s a good story.
asking cause I’m curious and I saw the slight romance tag but how much romance is the slight romance rag here? is it like legend of the magnate or less?
Dang, was thinking of starting this but I see the comments are so mixed 🤔🤔🤔
these short dramas are gonna follow tropes and stuff, definitely can’t expect perfection from them. watch Embrace in the Dark Night, if you like that one you gonna like this one.
first off let me say that I have watch many dramas, tons of Koreans and Chinese. I’m very much used to overused tropes, bad stories, low budget dramas. I have no problem with these dramas. I do see the nice romance in this one. I do agree it’s a sweet story. but the screenwriting is really bad. not only that, but the sound editing, there is a lot of scenes where the sound quality is just horrible. that and the bad writing in last few episodes makes it hard to finish. which is quite sad cause the OST of the drama and the romance scene are really good. I’ve probably listened to the ost for longer than I watched the show.
question for those who finished it, how's the triangle? is it over the top or too much time or focus on the 2ML, or forgettable? is there an episode where he just moves on or it persist till end?
Does happy ending equate to masterpiece or the drama being good?I read some conflicting reviews, some complaining…
I cannot answer your question as I didn’t watch it yet, but I agree with you. some of the biggest masterpiece has heartwrenching ending, like “one and only”. as long as it fits the story am fine with bad ending.
is it happy end or not. why are people so divided on this? I haven’t watched it yet, and seems there no unanimous feeling on if it’s ending happy or not.
Does anyone else get the feeling that her friend and her husband are going to have a falling out? Even though…
my guess is the screenwriters wouldn’t put that much time on them and write their scene that way only to have their relationship go smooth. they definitely gonna have some hardship. at least the actor is good, I liked him in Make a Wish.
I wanna watch as episodes go but the trailer I saw kinda is making me anxious, that scene with fire where she fall and lose consciousness, and that scene where she dance smiling with 2mL! I hope the triangle and angst is not too intense later on!
do they have some triangle in there ?
