My only quibble with the show is that they didn’t get to explore the variety of the virtual fantasy world - I needed more cameos, more scenarios, more interactions, more characters… MORE
Min Su was entertaining AT FIRST but now she is kinda draining..... just me?
She’s good for the show because of ratings & engagement and now she’s creating a discourse on whether or not her behaviour is acceptable or excusable. Furthermore she showcases the toxic male centred dating dynamic exploiting "pretty privilege" hence she has plenty stans whilst some of us just want to watch a kdating show drawing up love-lines, rooting for certain people or couples in a frustratingly yet fun good old sport kinda way
This show is my guilty pleasure and I’m just happy that we’re back to a 1 island and the kitchen is back, they’re fetching water and now we got a chicken coop & a vegetable garden! They have to salivate to go to Paradise that’s what makes it appealing to me honestly.
The photoshoot challenge was such a nice touch (reminded me so much of Love Catcher) and the Truth or Date game was really nerve wrecking yet fun experience. Can’t wait to see how everybody moves going forward.
Ohhh and I’m rooting for all the girlies except for Mary-Sue, she clearly *wants* to be the “it-girl” of this season.
The way BonHee had me stressing and anxious and worried, WOW my ship has finally sailed 💃 So happy for YeongGyeong and HyeonJun too! I wonder if both couples will mange to navigate the distance though I can’t help but doubt if they’ll seriously continue dating. The so-called successful age-gap relationship to come out of a kdating show I’ve seen was in Love Catcher Bali and they barely managed 6 months relationship. I’m surely going to miss MuJin’s nose scrunches and his cheeky smile. Here’s to hoping that production will do better in casting the male participants in a possible season 2, we need more proactive and leading young guys on such a show. The wide age gaps was also a huge and unrealistic concern also some engaging, active and lively “dates” would be ideal.
I think the moment when Yeeun completely switched moods in her first date with Sangwon is what makes me not sympathize…
Thank you for this… For a while I thought I viewed their date differently because that’s exactly where the switch up occurred in his defence. And again regarding the handshake, she specifically said “I want you to express your feelings for the one you’re attracted to. Just go to the one you’re attracted to” - I recall just how impressed I was with her as it came across as being mature and them reaching some sort of level ground, SoHyun may have assumed that they were finally on the same page and might have felt grateful for her understanding yet somehow she managed to interpret that as a positive signal gaining in her favour.
And now it just feels as if she’s emotionally manipulating him to feel bad about his choices? See now that’s what I don’t get, just because a person was your initial choice and you’ve maintained your stance on your feelings for them doesn’t mean they’re obligated to recuperate your feelings. It’s a dating show, people are allowed (and encouraged) to become drawn to other people and explore other connections.
And yes I could be wrong but the way I see it, it’s coming across as more of a complex thing or she simply can’t take rejection well.
But hold up, did I read my subtitles correctly when she said “I hope she won’t come to me with that whining voice” pertaining to JiWon?
The “ridiculous age-gaps” really screwed the Ladies over. This was evidently for “shock value” & “show ratings”, this certainly did not pertain to their favour.
I’ve not finished the ep yet but I can’t understand sanghyeon. I find him more & more pathetic after each…
I genuinely couldn’t help rolling my eyes whenever he appeared on the screen and him being “coddled” by the panelist’s really didn’t sit well with me but Allas!
Seonu annoys me deeply. And it's that same frustrating trope again, he has been close friends with Darim for years,…
Like that whole “I’ll be taking care of her from now on” rubbed me off the wrong way… Where was that sentiment/energy when she was down & out, pitifully scrambling through life?
honest opinion, non of the exes should be getting back together! all their relationships seem toxic. Especially…
Everyone wants someone new but also want their ex but at the same time they don't want their exes to find someone too. This whole season has me pissed off and not like in “ a good entertained way”.
First time I’ve felt like not rooting for any “possible couple or ship”.
“Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too, was a gift.”
Painstakingly realistic
WHAT A RIDE
Glad that they listened to their viewers and done some decent upgrades nonetheless

She’s simply so precious to me🫶
