I think best relationship is subjective here 😅The series version felt more toxic than anything else
I think you will like it

User "uchihacarol" is defending this series in the comments, like their life depends on it lmao.
Plus I'm not saying "you wrong, I'm right".

I'm telling people to go watch and decide by themselves, since it's clear too many people have too many biased perspectives here.

That's being mature, different from you :)

Seriously? Why bring the Next Prince here? Hater much? 😊
But why do it here? Talk about the series, no need to comment about others.

What does it add to the series to talk about another? Nothing.

I watched the episodes in about 5 minutes - skipping through most and stopping to watch the supporting couples.
You do know that's not how logic works with fandom, right?

Being from the same company or not is irrelevant.

TOTALLY!!It doesn't make sense, especially when episode 1 has a 9. Where do they get that the series deserves…
I gave 1 because I'm waiting to see more of it.
If anything changes, I will update my opinion. As for the full review, I will wait all episodes.

For full reviews, I usually like waiting, because only 1 episode and reviewing fully is pretty weird to me, but it's clear many like doing it anyways.

While I get some points in terms of direction and script, it's kinda hard to not feel your have a bias perspective considering how you interact with TNP vs Khemjira.

Your own review about TNP shows that you have a very biased perspective over the series.
You said: "-The ratings are a joke. Over 95% reviews here 24/7/20 have given this a rating of 10 when they had only seen 1 episode (reviews done in first week of airing). Currently there are 11 pages. It seems its desperate dishonest fans."

Isn't that what many fans in Khemjira are doing now?
While TNP could have had a better script and direction in certain moments, the first episode wasn't bad. So why your side can be overly optimistic with just 1 episode but TNP fans can't?

You said as well: "A fortune was spent on this vanity project for the main leads"
Sorry, but that's very hater coded, you clearly dislike ZeeNuNew and the project, so your vision is way more biased and negative than neutral as you try to be with your comments.

You try to reason that people are being unfair with khemjira, but you are pretty similar to the people there, just your negative focus is The Next Prince.

You said too:
"BAD INVESTMENT: I can think of other worthwhile script driven, character driven projects that could have been made instead of this.
Its a shame"
Independent of what your personal opinion is, it's not on you to decide what the company invests or not. You may think the money isn't worth it, but DMD and many investors saw ZeeNunew and The Next Prince as a worthy project.

While the execution could have been better if Aof and the scriptwriters didn't change so much from the novel, it was a huge project with high expections since 2022 with a very popular novel too.
You may not like or agree, but that doesn't mean you are right.

People will like whatever, if you disliked fine, but doesn't mean everyone that saw TNP disliked it like you.
Some people from the general public in Thailand that never saw a BL before had great things to say about the experience. Are you gong to invalidate them?

Overall, people are free to like and dislike whatever they want, be it TNP, Khemjira or both. Fans and haters should stop trying to turn people against projects they like/dislike just for a sense of competiton.

I understand, but personally I don't get why compare series here.
You know that what makes fanwars keep going right?

it is 7.7 now... such a bummer that mdl lets people rate after one episode and that it doesn't find it suspicious…
I prefer watching too, because people can highlight more the good or bad depending of their personal interests and that is already a bias perception.

Maybe what I find a deal breaker isn't a problem to you and vice-versa.

Hate?
I find it okay, but for the theme of horror/terror I prefer korean series.
I think not all know how to connect the theme with romance.
After Sundown was a movie I expected more form the director and was not scary to me too.

I'm very picky with BLs , so I may watch some, but I don't try to watch all because many don't interest me.

MDL and similar rating sites are not trustworthy nowadays. BL fans are like kpop now, so fans usually rate 10 while haters rate it 1. Very few neutral people really come rate here.

Honestly, my advice is for people to be able to think on their own and decide if they wanna watch or not as well as be honest if they really like or not.

Review sites never affected my interest in watching something or not and I just keep like that till today.

Sorry, but it’s very silly to say Net should leave only because he got a smaller role than what he usually gets.…
I don't think so, Zee doesn't show any sign that he doesn't wanna do BL anymore. He may want to do less work, specially with all the hate he gets just because he is popular, however I see him doing projects that are interesting to him, be it BL or not.

So far, the only ones thinking he wanna leave BL are haters, because they wanna him to be like some actors that get popular because of BLs and leave to do something else.

Zee isn't like that.

....you mean they skipped the support actors role in favor of the main leads? noo...Jay is cute tho and Calvin…
TNP has more than just couples as secondary characters, so it's impossible to have time for all.
Plus CalvinJay and AvaMira barely exist on the novel, they got more than they did there honestly.

Yes, will be an original project and the director, apparently, is someone used to musicals.

Nope, Aof ignored the feedback of the fans and many things we expected he didn't do.

Why am I not surprised to see fans of khemjira going everywhere that TNP is to sell the series to others?

Zee already said that he will work less, not retire 100%.
Plus he may feel like that now, but he said in the past too that he may decide to enter project if they like the opportunities given.
