This show is exhausting. FL is an idiot character. I like ML character. However, they do have good chemistry. The villains are so crazy that I have to skip every once in a while. And why are they out there kissing in public to be seen by the villains. LOL. Make it make sense. I need a nap. This show had BETTER have a happy ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am pleasantly surprised by this show. It is really, really good. This is my first time watching the ML, and I like. I really, really like:). The FL has spunk and a brain that is not over the top. The chemistry between the two leads bubbles like water about to overflow, yet I am glad that they are easing into whatever the relationship will be. This is worth a watch. And may the father have a white truck experience. Just saying.
After episode 3, I don't like the leads very much, especially the FL. Not sure if she's stupidly reckless, but…
Yeah, I'm struggling with that too. I am more invested in Kang Cheol as his original character than the ML. To be honest, I don't want the character of the ML to come back. If he is you-know what, let him stay you-know what. As for the character of the FL, I don't know what to say. She's confusing.
Only two episodes so far, therefore I can't say whether I like it our not. So far, it is interesting. Right now something is missing. It may be because Kang Cheol is much more interesting than Yun Gap. I was more captivated when KC was present as his original self. To me that is the missed opportunity, but as I've said, it's been only two episodes. Let''s see what unfolds.
Thought I would drop in to see the comment section. Wrong move. A few people appear to have watched another show or just didn't get the premise around the evils of loving money too much. I hope those considering will watch it and make up their own mind. With that, no more comment reading for me. Mercy.
The ending was really unexpected but it still made sense.Seo Dongju locking Yeom in the Deasan vault, stripping…
I am definitely feeling the many emotion on this one. Loss. Goodbye. Acceptance. Letting go. Starting over. Find space to heal and reorient. Movement of time and how things slowly changed. Yeom's words to Dongsu. The list goes on and on. I just wanted to cry...
Wow. What a great series. Great ending. If it had ended any other way, the series would have been spoiled. Make sure to watch beyond the credits. From where it started to where it ended....The sadness of it all. I felt the tears with this one. The vicious cycle of greed continues with the next generation...as life moves on. There is so much to unpack. Just superb. Kudos to all the actors.
As I've said before, if anyone is watching for the first time, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to what is happening. Suspend what you think you would do and all the other crap about something not making sense. It's not that kind of drama. There are a lots of ambiguities. If you're looking for a neatly wrapped presentation, don't watch. This is a gem all its own. 10/10.
Well dang. Another excellent episode. I don't know what to expect for the ending. I want Dong ju to survive it all. I am going to miss this show. I've enjoyed every bit of it. All the characters are flawed, and I found it refreshing in way of storytelling. My only downer is how they handled the character of Eun Nam thus far.
For those who may want to watch this show, I would suggest you pay close attention because there are so many moving parts and intricacies. It's easy to get lost. Looking forward to the final episode tomorrow.
Oh that was just too good. I wonder what the comments were on the Live Stream. LOL Episode 14 ranks as one of the better episodes on all levels. I don't know how this will end, but I want Dongju to survive it all and go off into the sunset...without the FL. :)
ep 13 ....... loved it! loved it! loved it!- what scenes!!! ... so ..... at the beginning when Tae Yun came to…
Exactly. Well said. This was such a great and emotional episode. The actors, especially the 3 male leads are incredible. As for Eun Nam, at this point, why?
Wow. I don't know what to say. This was a really good episode. Tragic, infuriating and sad. Storywise, these are some broken characters. Il Do was a puppet who became a murderer due to greed. That last scene with Dongju showed glimpses of what could have been. It also showed who IL Do could have become. In saving Dongju, he did what he wouldn't do the first time and lost his life. Earlier, Dongju said there wasn't a chance for the two of them, yet there was this yearning that he portrayed. There is so much to unpack...this episode just left me feeling sad at what could have been between the two of them, and enraged at Yeom for manipulating everyone. Greed is a killer of the soul.
In real life, I wouldn't have anything to do with these people, family or no.
Will someone write me into this script so that I can kill Yeom and partake of the Kopiko coffee candy? With that said this is becoming more interesting as it unfolds. I'm glad that we didn't't know the details of the story in the early parts of the show. I am also glad that there isn't much romance in this story.
To be honest, I would be surprised if the ML and FL ended up together. Something about their relationship has changed over the course of the show...unless I'm missing something. He cares about her, but I don't sense that early yearning that was present in the earlier episodes. As I watch, I even find myself not thinking about them much.
The poorly played chess game is between Donju, Yeom and Il Do, and it is entertaining to watch. I love this show, but one has to pay close attention otherwise it's easy to become lost.
I don't know what to think at this point. This episode blew my mind in a good way. But I do hope this: Someone needs to order some white trucks with a side of goons to take out some villains. Writers please let ML have his day going forward. No more beat-ups, near strangulations etc. Eliminate II do. At the end, send ML and FL into opposite directions. The past is the past. May the two never meet again. Oh, and let him keep the money. :)
Great acting by ML. Poor storyline and writing. Lots of stereotypes regarding faith. Yes, there are religious wackos out here, but like really...He had some mental issues. Also, the way he pastored the mom with the missing daughter had me rolling my eyes. Talk about poor training. LOL This could have been a good movie but it was all over the place.
