@YESMISSA For what I understand they are not in a relationships, and it was explained in the second episode that…
SML isn’t really a sml since he’s not interested in wuyan and she isn’t interested in him. They grew up together and had a strong bond, the things he did for her as she said in the 1st episode seem like things a boyfriend would do. He was someone very important in her life but they never made anything about their relationship besides their friendship official, she assumed because of how close their bond was that it is what love/or a more than friends relationship is. She was hurt that her two close friends did that behind her back without telling her about their feelings.
i saw it was adapted from a novel if anyone has read the novel .........can you please spoil meeee............
I think they’ll still stay true to the story in the sense of how their love develops, him gaining his sight back in the drama won’t necessarily change why he fell in love with her.
In the novel he was born visually impaired not totally blind, he can see some light/shadows within about 3 feet of of his surroundings. He can’t make clear of anything he sees just some silhouettes. In the drama he’ll regain full sight.
Crush team just posted on Weibo a link to a bunch of behind the scenes clips (30+ minutes) that you can watch on the iQiyi (Chinese app)! https://m.weibo.cn/7648933742/4660295269616764
The story actually gets more intense (imo) leading up to the break up and after they meet again, the synopsis doesn’t give away as much you would think. There’s lots of surprises to come, the current synopsis gives a gist of the start of the novel!
VIP users get 12 episodes this week and 12 episodes next week, there’s only 24 episodes so it would end next Sunday for VIP users. Regular viewers get 4 episodes each week (2 eps every Saturday and Sunday) so it would end on August 15th.
I've been seeing some people worry about the ending and wanted to post this. I'll mark it as a spoiler so if you…
According to the book, it's a happy ending for mi ka and xing ke lei! I don't think the drama would stray THAT far from the book especially with the ending, so i'd say we have a 90% chance of a satisfactory happy ending!
no official date has been announced, but there's speculations of either a release late this month or a may/june…
Yes, you're right. In the novel he never recovers his eyesight, in fact his eyesight got worse when they broke up because Nianqin turned to alcohol and smoking (which are both bad for you're eyesight) to cope w/missing her; his eyesight was already weak so the combination of smoking, alcohol, and his heartbreak only contributed to deteriorating the little sight he had left. For the drama, they decided to "heal" his eyesight, from the mv of the ending ost it looks like he got surgery for it. In the novel, Nianqin mentioned they'd tried all methods and there was no way of "healing" his eyes since he was born this way. Hope this helped!
What is the name of the novel???Where can I get the novel in English???Please help.....
there's no official english translation of the novel, but you can find the chinese novel easily online and have it machine translated (so basically google translated). you can still get a pretty good understanding of the story through the google translation.
aha yes! they made quite a big change w/the plot for the drama but i'm so glad they kept the baby party from the book to the drama script. it'll be wonderful seeing their happy little family in the end when they go through a lot of difficulties to be together.
