how is it already getting airing melons? didn't it just finish filming recently? it hasn't even received a distribution license. Did they even finish editing it?
Spoiler to episode 9 onwards:I'm very much not a fan of the death arc because it feels very intentional. A cop should not be on a stakeout alone, especially after he was already ambushed previously (which should've been a warning sign). He shouldn't have gone to tail and fight the perpetrator on his own and the captain should have refrained him from that. The arrival of the police was too late considering the captain was not mentioned to be specifically in the area.it's meant to be a tearjerker but it could've been done in a more meaningful, realistic way.I don't like it when emotional moments are forced upon the audience for impact only instead of being done in a natural way. It's lazy writing. he wasn't a very dangerous criminal. Letting him get the money or escape would not have had as much of a negative impact as losing a life. It's a useless and careless way to die.
''Life is a wholehearted investment in yourself. I used to think that building a stable family was a one-time investment with guaranteed returns. But investment and risk always come together. Even banks can fail. What in this world comes with guaranteed returns? Putting your future into love is like taking a gamble with everything you have''
I'm a sucker for slow burn but this was so unsatisfactory. How could they get together without a talk? their adult life should've been a bit longer. I haven't read the novel so I don't know what should've happened but this feels unfinished. I don't think romance is dependant on physical affection so it wasn't what bothered me. I think them getting together after so long should've gotten so much more weight and it just felt hollow to me.
