I agree. MDL ratings are the worst. It's so skewed. I never ever go by them. People just come on here to either complain & put down a drama, or to rate it high & praise their idol who is the lead (whether it's good or not). lol

I liked that they didn't focus much on the genetic predisposition aspect. Because South Korea doesn't need an excuse to dismiss mental health problems. Rather, they need to step it up & re-evaluate the reasons for other causes/triggers. There's a reason they have such a high rate of suicide. Those "bad parenting", "societal pressures", & "environmental factors", etc, all lend themselves to becoming possible triggers for mental health disorders, and if people/society took the time to address these problems properly, there may be less tragic outcomes.

I had dropped the movie a while ago, after watching about 2/3 of it. The toxic unhealthy relationship was hard to watch.
But now I know who Yamazaki Kento is, and have been watching a lot of his work lately. So I think I'm going to try to watch it again, all the way through this time.
