I'm still reluctant to watch the color version. When I see the stills from the movie, it doesn't evoke the same emotions I felt about Godzilla & the movie as a whole, as when I watched the b&w. 🤔🤷♀️
If you have access to Netflix, I highly recommend the Minus Color version (over the color version). It felt more... authentic? Idk what word I'm looking for. But it definitely gave me the feel of watching a real, original, Godzilla movie. I loved that they even kept some of the stiffer movements in which the original Godzilla was limited in. Perfect for the 70yr anniversary. 💚 Actually, when I saw it in theater, it kind of felt like I was watching a touching war story/documentary, with Godzilla as part of it. As if he was real in WW2 era. 😅 Which to me is pretty awesome, that the b&w version could make me feel like that.
