The fake kisses actually enraged me. Like at that point, I'd just rather they not kiss at all. And Half standing so far back from it too, likeeeeee??? How could GMMTV ruin the one thing that was keeping me from dropping this? Also, the dead fish kisses are insane, cause we've seen G4 kiss before, and I mean KISS, so what is this...? Also, the band from MSP showing up only added the cherry on top of this series not being taken seriously as a remake of a classic BL, but the 2.0 version of something that worked for them the first time. I'll watch the last episode because at this point, why not, but this series won't go much higher than an 8 from me, if that.
Thank you for this! I usually try to read comments but I know how some go way in depth and look at every little…
I was going to comment something like, "no, still give this series a try!", but honestly I remember nothing from it since it's been like almost 2 years, and there are way better BLs out there, so you're better off watching those.
This was the first episode where I was kind of like, "ehh", and I hate it. Kongthap and Atom don't look like boyfriends, I'm so sorry. They're acting like bros at best rn. BUT AT LEAST HALF AND MUDMEE GOT TOGETHER !!!!
They're more focused on showcasing products than delivering an interesting story. I also have a feeling they're…
Yes! I told my friend this too, like something about the scenes feels so... incomplete? like the director was really tired and decided to only get one take and call it a day. Like this kiss between Atom and Kongthap felt like it was the first take when they definitely could've tried again lol.
Update: Completed the series. Sea's acting (in my opinion !) never gets better, it just becomes more tolerable as you watch. Even with that though, the series is too cute to drop. It's literally nothing but unicorns and rainbows. However, if I'm to see these two in a series again, Sea's has to have a significant amount of improvement in that realm (seeing as he's getting paid for it). Had this series had a touch more of an emotional aspect, I would've dropped it. 7/10. (Also, the side couple's super cute, but pretty anti-climatic towards the end)
Update: now currently on episode five. Sea's acting hasn't got much better, but it's tolerable only because Keen's acting is decent enough. I think the problem I found with it is that in most scenes, it just feels... awkward? He doesn't know how to act with his eyes, and I think that's what bothers me most. The side couple is also another big reason I'm still watching, they are fantastic.
ik Sea's acting could have been better..But since it was his first project..There is always a space for improvement..Talking…
Ehh, I'll take the "this is his first acting gig" with a grand of salt, only because I've seen plenty of BLs where it was the leads first time acting and they did phenomenal. BUT! I am still going to give this a try, and trust the other comments that his acting improves by at least the next few episodes lol.
Every week I tell myself, "This episode is going to be the one where I like Khonthap and Atom the most", but nope! Idk what juice they put into Mudmee and Half that has me going feral, but I eat their relationship up each week. To the point where when they switched back to Khon and Atom's date, I was like 🥲 (hahahahaha) Joking of course, but seriously Mudmee and Half have me wrapped around their finger. I don't remember how their relationship plays out in the Japanese version, but I do so hope they end up together. And we better get a kiss !!!!!
(actually, can someone explain to me the MLMU Japanese version of Half and Mudmee's relationship? I really can't remember 😅)
Personally, I liked TayNew in this role, but I one-hundred percent agree that they didn't pay up to the original personalities of the Cherry Magic characters. In a way, they wanted to make it their own, but I do miss the original characters and their characterization.
I see the main couple from "Step By Step" being a perfect fit for this role. Especially Man who is just at that perfect age where it makes since.
Nice analysis! I liked the pace, I loved the acting, I admired the originality of the concept and I hated the…
You're welcome! and I was the same way, I was thinking by the end he'd wake up from this dream and become a better person, but no, in fact he is dead. Like, okay? Guess I''ll become a better person for all the rest of the dead people..? (lol)
I can't seem to understand the excitement coming from die-hards of this series, the story was great, but the romance lacked a lot. I feel like I see so much about this series on social media more than I'd like to.
Hello! That time of year again to list questions for all BL lovers out there to answer! It's been another spectacular year full of BLs (more than we've ever seen) and I'd like to dedicate a discussion to where we can discuss our favorite/least favorites of this year and our most anticipated for 2024!

Seated.
Also, love that he has no clear love interest, and we get to see who he chooses out of the three men. So excited!
I pray this is a BL, but either way, the trailer sold me.
