exactly!! they haven’t even known each other for that long and ming yi was reluctant to even tell the truth to situ ling and her master!! which she has known for far longer, it just shows that she is being careful and doesnt trust that easily
im kinda sad that many people in the comments dont truly understand the female lead’s character and why she acts the way she does, her scheming and lying makes sense!

the whole usagi and ryuji dynamic was incredibly strange and just didnt make sense, her reason for going back to borderland was also very weak, this was kind of a slopfest
