No I meant dont let the rankings fool you that its being well received in china, because currently its not.

There are a lot of different criticisms at the moment, the biggest one is probably how streaming sites like tencent and iqiyi are manipulating data and inflating viewership, there have been a lot of netizens stating how Chasing Jade will automatically play when they didnt even click on it. A lot of cnetizens are also irritated at the fact that despite this drama having surpassed beloved hits like ”Joy of life” and ”The Knockout” (they are NOT happy about this), the buzz of this drama feels fabricated and its not a big hit like its being portrayed. im loving this drama actually so im not saying the rating on mdl is unfair, just presenting a different perspective on how this is doing domestically

well you know, cdramas are chinese, intended for their own audience, when a drama isnt being well received the actors will be affected, and while i think cnetizens like to nitpick a lot, i have to agree with some of their complaints this time
