i would agree with you if you said this about legend of the female general, because she’s supposed to be this powerful general yet becomes a damsel in distress as soon as the male lead is near. but in this case, the female lead has literally transmigrated from the modern world into the cultivation world, it simply makes sense how she’s weak (for now). she’s not a prop and I don’t see how shes underwritten, her personality is actually very likeable and has this certain charm.

it’s not like she just bends down for the male lead, she’s strong-minded and voices her opinions confidently

I can see your point, but this drama is really an exception, her being equally strong as him would just be bad writing, because it doesn’t make sense

why do you guys always feel the need of there being a strong female lead for the drama to be good? it literally makes sense that she’s weak
