I'm really sorry and saddened with what this guy is going trough. Still it was his choices that put him in the…
"So many idols before him found many different ways of surviving the pressure of fame without using drugs or killing themselves." the most ignorant comment I have read all week. Absolutely insane actually. You don't know that, you have absolutely no idea how idols cope. Especially looking at the statistics of alcohol abuse in the country as just one example. Also bringing up the suicides in the same context of "solved his issues differently" is trivializing all the idols who took their lives after suffering for years. It had absolutely no place in your comment or in this context at all.

You clearly have absolutely no idea the stigma in this culture surrounding mental illness or addiction and how it isn't as easy as in other countries to seek out professional help. What the actual fuck is wrong with you, genuinely. I am disgusted with you as well as your narcissism dripping from every single comment you are making. I hope YOU have sought out help, clearly you need it just as desperately. What a disgusting person.

Would have been a full 10 stars for me but Datehara is giving full on comic villain, the performance is very...Robbie Rotten from Lazy Town. I found myself skipping his dialogues after the first few episodes. I wish more subtlety from jdrama "villains" honestly, especially in dramas that are grounded in reality like a law or crime drama. The theatrics of this character specifically are taking me out of the story. They want to make sure we know Datehara is without a doubt the villain of this story to the point of it feeling like the villain of a kids show where it has to be made as obvious as possible with no subtlety.

It isn't a horror, I thought it was and while I was watching this I was like "Is it really a horror? wtf?" but…
"Personally I'd categorize this as horror" not sure what you want from me...

what? the original manga is even more ...i don't want to say bad but... i thought at first the manga at least…
I definitely don't recommend it and also haven't seen anyone in their right mind who hasn't dropped it in the first chapter.

Criticize the show as much as you like but y'all can't tell me these two aren't fun as hell, especially now that they are dating

I don't think I've ever disliked a character so strongly in a show before. Just seeing Chet's face on my screen…
It's their fucking audacity that has us all raging

I made it until that very point of the manga and then never returned. I love a smutty manga but only consensual. That was...shocking and gross, even more so after coming from watching the series which is pretty mild.

no one is that naive irl but he is cus it's fiction 🦄
not to be one of those people but he is a bit more 3 dimensional in the source material, his naivety is a bit more fun there than just flat
On Takara's Treasure Aug 17, 2024
ngl I am not liking the way the characters are portrayed, it's a bit flat. Taishin is only giving timid and oblivious and Takara only cool and reserved. I am wishing for a bit more depth, a wish that is very quickly becoming a need. People aren't just one or two character traits and I feel like BL writers sometimes forget about that. For this instance I enjoyed the manga more.

The quality of writing from Mame's stories to pieces like ITSAY or Not me is jarring. I am 100% behind you. Especially…
My whole journey started with Japanese BL movies back in like 2011 so maybe I'm biased haha I simply find them engaging, tropes aside. Can't say much more about Mame tbh, I simply agree

I don't understand the comments about natsume? To me he seems like a person who loves his job and is hardworking…
I like him tbh, even if I am growing a tad tired of the constant "meek bottom" depictions taking reign in JBL again recently. At least he has a personality outside of that with passion for work.

As someone who has just attempted to read the manga...thank you to the writers of this BL for making some executive decisions when it comes to NOT have r*pe occur like- I can't believe mangakas still depict r*pe and then make a love story out of it. Not a recommended read, immediately dropped. Will stay watching the series since it's properly changed.

For me it’s “ Kinnporsche” that sets the bunchmark. They raised my standards very very high I couldn’t…
It's KinnPorsche in regard of production and genre (action, darker plots ect.) for me and ITSAY in regard of storytelling and engagement. Each have set a new standards for those categories upon release. Adding to that the stellar performances of the actors in those pieces.
