I find it jarring to switch from Japanese, Taiwanese, and Korean BLs to Thai BLs. It should be about prioritizing…
The quality of writing from Mame's stories to pieces like ITSAY or Not me is jarring. I am 100% behind you. Especially looking at Japanese BL's who have that much less resources yet I will always find myself engaged in even the simplest stories because the writing simply works.
Just finished watching episode 10 and loved every second of it. I rated Love Sea a 10 early in the season and…
This is really rude for no reason but okay.
Something having barely any plot, ignoring the second couple by not actually giving them a proper plot at all while everything has serious pacing issues is unrelated to the love lives of viewers. I'm glad you enjoyed it but there was no need or any logic behind pulling people's personal lives into this. But since you care so deeply about our personal lives I'll let you know that this is coming from someone in a happy relationship. Which again, is unrelated to Mame being unable to write stories of actual substance. Imagine comparing this to works like I Told Sunset About You or Not Me, I think the difference in story structure, pacing and engagement is jarring.
It was...fine. Mostly saved by FortPeat chemistry. ngl Mame is not a thrilling or engaging writer and has some serious pacing issues. Don't even get me started in my disappointment in the GL 'storyline' and characters, I was way too excited and severely let down. Compared to LITA though the production quality improved.
I finally know why i like this so much. It reminds me of the old Jdramas I used to grow up with where a conflict arose and was taken care of in one episode, each episode. I really like that format and then the overarching lovestory just ties it neatly togetger. Nostalgia but make it BL.
Everything is happening at a quick pace but Im kinda not mad at it, its an enetertaining watch. Also for once (at least at this moment) there is no dragged out"does he like me, do i like him" back and forth. Sahashi made it clear and Mamiya is also already realizing his feelings. I like that.
South Korea, the country where you get more jail time for drug offenses than literal gang rape. Imagine if they treated their alcoholics like this, which btw they have a huge alcohol problem but yeah sure, throw your addicts into prison instead of helping them overcome this disease while letting rapists roam free. Those judges can go fuck off.
The wig is killing me, I can't see anything else but that goddamn unstyled, bad, obvious wig. I know adapting a manga is hard but even I have a better blondd wig at home.
I enjoyed it more than season 2. Definitely understand the criticism but it took me several weeks to get through season 2 meanwhile I managed to binge this within hours.
Nothing wrong with you. Recognizing that in reality most people are far more attracted to slender people than…
Why do you keep defending your shit taste everywhere when no one wanted to hear it? Like literally no one here wants to hear your hatred for fat people fam.
It's not "fat-shaming," as trendy as that BS has now become, it is A FACT OF LIFE. Most men, gay or straight or…
...why are you mentioning gay men. Why would gay men ever be attracted to women slim or fat..at least make sense in your narcissistic hatred of other people. Whoever hurt you, it doesn't matter. Do some fucking soul searching fam.
I would understand being upset about the age gap for sure, but Chet is genuinely just homophobic. Also I'm sorry "gender deviant"? The fuck is that supposed to be. Can this dude stop treating his adult daughter like he has any right to tell her what to do. He's 22 years too late, he is literally just the sperm provider really. "I'll send her to live with Fah" uhm no, she is an adult you have absolutely no right to send her literally anywhere. I hate this dude so much, what right does he think he has lol honestly that whole family keeps infantilizing Aneung so hard it's annoying. Again I definitely understand the age gap being uncomfortable but even everything outside of that they keep treating her like she is a toddler be it about friends or university or where she should live. Why do they keep pretending like they can decide her life for her. Girl could just get a job and live on her own.
The way Chet has never once even considered actually listening to the woman he supposedly loves or the daughter he wants to bond with omfg that man frustrates the shit out of me. Like how many more times does one have to tell him "I don't love you, I don't wanna marry you" and "I don't want her to be my stepmom". Also the way he pretends to be the mega father who gets to decide over everything in his adult daughter's life when he has barely known her for what, half a year??? Can he just like drop dead please.
Yet you went out of your way to be here, despite all the other content out there, under a BL article when no one asked you to be. Seems like you are your own problem.
