I dont think BL fams are used to the typical jdrama writing and tropes which this one has, im very disappointed by the ranking. This could be like one of those classics jdrama but gay instead of the usual straight romance. Amazing!

From the perspective of someone who has never watched or read the source material, this was a fun watch. It had good action, a constintent story, knew where it was going and a proper conclusion. Were character introductions and the training arch rushed? Sure, but it wasn't too bad. The CGI was also fine, especially conpared to some predecesors *cough* FMA *cough* AOT *cough*. So yeah it was fun and even got me interested to go watch the anime. I would watch a second season of this live action.

This one grew to be really special to me. Beautiful storytelling with an important message that everyone can appreciate. Only one tiny minus point for the slow burn romance to be the slowest I have seen in a long time haha
