Do I need to watch PA to understand this?

It's a slice of life drama a bit similar to Hospital Playlist.
I like the maincouple's chemistry and some of the cases presented.
However, I could not bring myself to be interested on the other judges' stories. This why about half of each episode feels boring to me.

I read that they changed the script post filming. That's why the dubbing really do not match on some scenes.

One of the reasons this show feels special and unique to me is because of the way it was filmed. Many scenes looks improvised and often it has that documentary feeling rather than a drama series.

I hope so, because to this day Kian's still wearing it 😆

Started slow but by episode 8 WOW!
FeiYu really never disappoints.
That was so raw and powerful. I appreciate that it didn't dwell on the aesthetics but really delivered the intensity of the scene.

Rednote is also dragging the stylist for the horrendous outfits and wigs 😆

Pursuit of Jade styling made everyone look insanely handsome, this show is doing the exact opposite.
It's a proof that FeiYu must really be good looking as he looks good just with his face alone. 🙈

I honestly found ep1and2 kinda boring so I paused for a while. But seeing new clips, it seems it has picked up with the pacing.

Yep, it was my very comment when I saw ep1. The wigs are horrendous, the outfits are tacky and even the swords look like cheap toy props. The camera angles are also not so good at making people look pretty.
Thank goodness these negative things cannot kill the cast' aura. They still look good to me.

This was my first modern Cdrama, and also the reason why I didn't touch modern Cdramas again for years!
It singlehandedly ruined my image of Chinese dramas as I thought all of them were so bad and cringe

I paused LBTG as the story is not yet catching my interest. I randomly started this and I ended up binge-watching 8 episodes in one day haha
It's good! It's not romancecentric but still interesting.
I like how chaotic FL's character is.

I read the novel too. That's why it's common knowledge to me how they got pregnant and why he hates their child.
But after finishing the series, I realized they never explained it.
I don't know how others who don't know about the novel understood it.
