i feel like a lot of us saw this coming. Ep 30.. I think we all knew it was the emperor who poisoned the ml from ep 4 or 5 but I don’t feel like it’s right, I think the empress dowager is not innocent

I hope there are no misunderstandings between the leads now, theres only 7 episodes left and the fl took almost 27 episodes to fall in love. That’s enough angst and slow burn

I agree, the introduction of the ml was well done, there are scenes where hes single handedly carrying the show along with wang churan, but some parts are just cringing me out

I see. I’ve liked his acting, especially in POJ but it makes me cringe here, only at some points tho. I’m not sure if its cuz of the director or something else, but something has gone wrong in this show

i really appreciate this show because it actually got me out of my comfort zone. Yes, I was uncomfortable seeing this because it didn’t have the typical rich family setting or a well developed city setting, instead the house looked like a typical house, the roads and setting did not look very appealing and I’m very happy about it. Cdramas nowadays have normalized big city stories with either of the leads having a happy family etc. I’ve always been a fan of shows which take me out of my comfort zone and make me uncomfortable

is it only me or zlhs acting at some points seems very… odd? it reminds of those 2 minutes shows iygwim 😅

ml is so handsome that EVERYTIME his family (in the show) says bad things about him, I rage so hard but then i have to remind myself its only a show, i even wonder how could the fl leave him hes literally so handsome (again reminding myself its only a show)
