I plead guilty, I have never liked Esther Yu, I’ve always thought her acting is a little pick me and boring, making it a reason for why I didn’t want to start this show. I also plead guilty for not watching Speed and love. But I was trying to find something to watch today with my lunch and I decided to give it a try. Oh my god. The first episode was amazing (I know im late to the party), I loved everything about it, tho I still find her emotions a little off and plain, apart from that it is so good

I know? But overdo was filmed a while back, and we all know everything is set for the release, they keep pushing back the date and it’s really exhausting that’s all I’m saying.

Honestly he could leave the kingdom with her, he could deny it if he had loved her so much idk it’s my personal opinion but Im sure he has done dirty deeds asw, lets just wait and watch bcz at the end of the day the screenwriters can kill anyone and do anything to make the ml and fl get together

he still killed her family 🤷‍♀️ so i have no sympathy for him, but yes if it would been otherwise, it would have been an amazing story

what an easy watch, no need to use extra braincells and the story still makes sense if I skip a few minutes, exactly how a story should be written

when will these broadcasting channels realize making us wait for months doesn’t feed our desperation/excitement, if anything we just lose interest in it, atleast for me. I’ve been seeing “stay tuned” since April. At this point I’m not interested anymore 👏

Agreed. It would have been really good if it wasn’t for the choppy editing and the way they cut the drama short. The second half seemed rushed and boring honestly but ig it is what it is. If only there was no 40 ep ban

I agree! I often want to express my opinions on a show but I hesitate because sometimes people (I don’t mean everyone) shut down my opinions, and Im just left thinking if I was wrong. Tho I do express my opinions now, I respect others povs because I may not watch it for the feels and I may want a good plot and not just romance. I hope people understand this more, respect everyone, not everyone has the same opinion as you and it doesn’t mean your right or Im right

the rating really fell from 9 (the day it aired) to 7.8 😂. It had a lot of potential but they just spoiled it after a point

yeah i can see it, the acting is phenomenal no doubt, they’ve all done an amazing job however maybe I think I just prefer a more political plot like Legend of Zang Hai, not sure. The acting and the cast is the only reason I’m still following this. itsok I hope they don’t drag this phase tho

i understand, I did read this somewhere but it feels fine on text however when you watch it, it is very annoying. Slow burn is one thing when they both slowly like each other and they marry/kiss in the later episodes, here first of all he’s been in love since the 1st episode which is beyond my understanding because there was no romantic development? Then, she has no interest whatsoever and he won’t stop chasing her? and this isnt even the problem, the whole story revolves around their love story, the plot is simply boring with no development happening

ugh the more the show progresses, the more they drag it. What is thr plot? there is no plot, the ml has been obsessed with thr fl since ep 2, she doesn’t have the tiniest feeling for him and sees him as a pawn, and when she is nice to him and we have a little hope of her liking him, it turns out wrong like in ep 13. At this point I like the side character more than the main ones. If they drag the “i wont marry him” phase I cant continue it. Hes such a lovesick puppy for her, even when she doesnt like him 🤦‍♀️

I did start it, however I dont find it interesting yet, the background music is so funny and unnecessary, some of the acting is horrible, I dropped it after 3 episodes, Ill probably restart it after 20 episodes. Personal opinion tho, cuz i found a lot of people who liked it, I didnt

i dont see a good plot yet, its quite plain, personally thats what i feel, however the acting is phenomenal and so is the chemistry. Theres no main plot building thats a little disappointing

I just started it, the background music at some points is frying me it’s so funny

last 2 minutes of ep 9, Meng Zi Yi’s acting was so well done, it gave me chills. She yet again proved why she’s an amazing actress 👏

oh well that’s reassuring, then I don’t see why people are so fussy about the drama?

im 50/50 on this, but its leaning towards more of its ok, cuz first of all, there are so many american shows which have such young actors paired with 40 year olds, and then im sure the crew and thr cast was respectful towards her, and it’s not like its her first show, and she obviously willingly signed up for it. But knowing a 16-17 year old kissing a 27-26 year old is still hard to digest, though i hope the show doesnt flop all cuz of a young female lead, especially if the story is well done
