We're talking about 2 different things here. I'm talking about his acting as a whole (which I acknowledge any potential vocal performance will be null because of the dubbing) while you are exclusively talking about his vocal performance. I maintain that we will see his acting regardless of dub or not, because dubbing doesn't negate, as you said before, facial expressions, body movements, reactions, etc. Acting, or at least how you define it as "expressing emotions", is not exclusive to being expressed via the actor's vocal performance.
Do you think that acting is only voice acting? Because I said nothing about acting being "only their looks, movements, and making faces". You were the one questioning if Neo would be able to portray the character properly if he's dubbed, as if him being dubbed negates that he still has to actually portray the character onscreen. We will still literally see his acting, dubbed or not. It's nice to encourage actors to use their own voices and unfortunate that he might not use his own, but productions dub for a reason.

I STILL don't know what the weird artifact at 0:32 is. I think 0:52 is Guang Han Sect instead. At 1:02 I think is when Tian Yao falls into the magma when they're trying to get his dragon tendons, right before yan Hui gets taken back to Chen Xing Mountain. I wonder if they're gonna have Su Ying actively try to kill Yan Hui unlike in the novel bc Su Ying says "Tian yao, I want you to be like me, forever having no way to fulfill your love", so she MIGHT be merged with the og big bad from the novel. We'll see.

Okay so for the first 13 seconds, we seem to be seeing when Su Ying betrayed Tian Yao. I'm not totally sure what the floating rock place at 0:16 seconds in is, I think it might be Guang Han (aka Su Ying's) Sect? 0:18 might be when Yan Hui was still at Chen Xing Mountain at the beginning, which would contrast the next shot of her in the hat veil which would be at the end of the drama after she reincarnates. 0:21 is Yan Hui's fight with the snake demon near the beginning of the story, we see her getting bitten in the trailer. 0:23 I'm not too sure, it could be when Yan Hui and Tian Yao go to the volcano and have to dislodge the Heavenly Sword there to get Tian Yao's dragon tendons. 0:29 is when our lovely pairing first meets after Yan Hui ends up in Tian Yao's village lmao. I'm not sure what the thing at 0:32 is, I'm still rereading the novel so I might have a better idea later. 0:37 we see the Heart Protection Scale leave Tian yao's body. At 0:41 I can't tell whose in the middle of the spell circle. 0:45 is Tian Yao after he stabbed Yan Hui for the first time in the cave to release his dragon bones. I think 0:49 is when Yan Hui was taken back to Chen Xing Mountain to have her cultivation destroyed but I can't tell, the scene looks how it was described in the novel but the resolution is so bad I can't tell if its Zhou Ye. 0:58, Yan Hui is either dead or dying and the Heart Protection Scale is going back to Tian Yao. Idk what scene the lightning is from, but the NEXT scene at 1:00 is their underwater kiss after Tian Yao has his dragon bones back and they're being pursued by demons. They also kinda tease us with Tian Yao's dragon form at 1:05, and 1:06 might be where Su Ying's lover dies defending Tian Yao. Oh and 1:16 is where Yan Hui accidentally peeps in on Tian Yao taking a bath at the beginning lmao.

Probably because out of the three xianxia dramas mentioned for this month (Starry, Brink, and Chong Zi), Chong Zi is the only one thats airing on another platform. So technically it would be the only competition for either Starry or Brink, whichever airs.

Since you say you're reading through the novel rn I won't spoil it, but speculating just by the cast info and the stuff they've released so far. One minor but important antagonist to Yan Hui is currently missing, another character thats supposed to pair up with another at the end is missing too, and there appears to be a character added, most likely to be Yan Hui's second love interest. Which is a little odd since there's a character that sort of filled that role in the novel but Yan Hui wasn't interested lol. Also the ending seems to be the same as the novel due to context clues in some of the released clips.
At the same time some actors haven't had their roles listed yet so I'm not totally sure.
