Title My Stand-In
Just my random musings about the show: I’m enjoying it, but you know what would’ve REALLY given me that bone…
it is tragic that joes ended up in the same abusive relationship again but i feel like the shows trying to convince me its a good thing. what happens if joe ever wants to break up with him again? another kidnapping? the show is entertaining but frustrating. joes character also lacks development, you’d think dying and using this poor guys body to have a second chance at life would change you or at least encourage you to make different choices.

Title My Stand-In
every episode all i can think about is joe needs to grow a backbone omf
at the end of ep8 all i could say was “wow joe has zero self respect”. i pity him.

Title My Stand-In
i wish joe was angrier and not so good all the time, its like he has no flaws. toxic romances are only fun when they can match each others freak.

if i was in joes situation where i had a second chance at life and was forced to be around the same people that made my life hell, i would be furious. furious at my circumstances, at myself, at ming, at tong and basically the entire world for making me relive this. i really want him to blow up at some point, specifically he needs to yell at ming for a long time and just get everything off his chest. i need that moment of catharsis.

i would love joe to get revenge but this isn’t the series for that unfortunately. once ming finds out joe is joe and joe realises that ming doesn’t love tong anymore, their relationship will probably be sunshines and daisies until the ep10-11 drama hits. i hope the writers surprise me and aren’t this predictable.
