They haven't given us any reason for Jane to like Ryan. They also didn't show how he started to have feelings for him (yet; hopefully). Ryan has no qualities that he has shown to Jane that are deemed as likable and they just aren't compatible. There's nothing in this plot that shows or tells me they deserve to be together what so ever. They forgot about character development and focused on validating cheating. That's just a part on bad writing.

idk if Chris is the ex boyfriend or the guy she almost married. In episode one or so when the mom tried to call the ex fiancee the name was Sang ___ something not Chris. Chris could be his English name but I think Chris and the guy she almost married are different people

Ryan's the main lead. Everyone else are support characters. This show revolves around Ryan, and what happens in his vicinity. Jane barely is even a character, and we barely know anything about him at episode 9.

wdym to episode 5💀 Episode 5 is already more than half the show. I wouldn't want to waste my time watching 5 one hour episodes of something I don't like. If a first episode doesn't hook you, they failed now if TWO don't. Trash the whole thing.

Not everyone is confident in confessing to their friend (in real life 99% of times that goes badly) Also let's not forget she lived in America and was getting married?? He didn't try not to love her. She quit her job, called off her engagement and is clearly going through it and a decent human would know this is not the right time. Not to mention even I would think she 100% doesn't like him, I'd be terrified too if she treated me like this, very brotherly.

The FL saying she likes her ex isn't a let off of the story because why would u think she dated him in the first place. Realistically she is hurt by everything. Do you really think she won't have feelings for someone she planned to marry. She had quit her job and marriage which means something happened which the plot is trying to tell us. The plot line is that she can't be with him nor do the job anymore. And as we go on their telling us a little more on why.

Gosh that script for the part where they called her "AI" was just awful. Felt like I was watching a Dhar Man video. 'Korean girl gets called a robot and co-workers live to regret it' I was fully prepared for her to make a whole speech and start it with "So you see..."
