The low rating is mostly because people don't like that the female lead is angry and abrasive and that the drama…
Thank you :) Yes, I do enjoy such dramas. However, I also wish to be rewarded with a happy or satisfying conclusion at the end. If it's heavy or convoluted right through, then I consider it a waste of my time and emotions. Do you see this drama having a well-written and possibly happy ending?
I was planning to watch this, but the low rating of 7.4 is confusing me. Is it really that bad? Without spoiling too much of the show, can someone tell me what the reason for such a low rating is? If there's too much unnecessary drama then I might dislike it as well, but I'm not sure if that's the issue with this...
Couldn't agree more. Completely ruined K2 for me. To the point I'm avoiding anything with her in significant role…
Agreed. That's my issue with her too. She's praised for her smile, good looks, etc., but her expressions and body language are stiff and bland. No sense of transforming into a role or playing a character. And none of her fans seem to have any counter to that other than their subjective liking! On the other hand, I can think of some actresses who may not fit the current East Asian beauty standard but have such incredible acting chops, essentially making them carry the entire show.
Wondering if I should wait until the last ep airs to start watching it. I don't want to start a drama only to find that it has a bad ending and then have to drop it :(
Bai Jing Ting, in my opinion, looks gaunt and effeminate (more with that heavy makeup) in the role, nor does he…
I agree with you about Luo Yunxi. He's bland. But Bai Jing Ting is one of the better actors of this generation. He's by no means perfect but his skill has been proved over and over again in his various works. He particularly excels at micro expressions and conveying emotion with his eyes. The First Frost is a prime example of this, where the yearning and bashfulness was apparent even in his silences.

but same, I will wait for this drama for as long as it takes. The premise is so interesting and I love SZE and Neo :')

idk if it was the acting or just the way her character was written but she got on my nerves
