I can excuse this if this was filmed a few years ago, understandable small actors at the time take on poor scripts and it’s just coming out now years later but like this is so 😭she literally floated out of her chair in the plane like the editing is not serious.

I’m watching this purely because I don’t think it’s good at all that I just have to see how it ends. It’s feels like it’s trying to be a republican drama but also just feel like an idol republican drama if that even makes sense. As much as Ling he is good I don’t think he will really be taken as a serious actor. Even now on CN they critique his facial makeup being too much and not republican like. In the future I hope he doesn’t pick any more projects like this unless he’s really serious about doing them and should be more selective about the scripts he takes. Otherwise the pretty boy image will never leave him and I’m afraid he’ll never been seen as a respected actor. He should take on more serious roles and take on less daintier appearances. I know it must be his intention since a lot of actors tend to pick up modern or republican dramas when they want to branch out of the historical setting and idol dramas.

The tourism event that was in conjunction with show got cancelled as well. Wooseok lost his endorsement very quickly for no reason. Her comments are absolutely horrible from Koreans. Feel like I’m losing my mind i remember there is scene specifically with xiaobao and Lianhua when he sits down and tell him that he cares about him and doesn’t want him to get hurt I SWEAR but after rewatching at least 3 times it seems like this scene was quietly edited out :(((( please tell me im just being dumb and maybe i keep missing but i keep watching episode and its not there anymore.

Again it’s the scene I believe they were sitting down in the lotus tower if not they were sitting down somewhere inside a room and doubing was going on about Lianhua being in danger and then he tells him or looks him in the eyes and says I care about you and I just don’t want to see you get hurt then Lianhua avoids responding directly I know bc I freaked out over it and fan girled and even left a comment about it but it’s not there please tell me it is and I’m just maybe missing it 😭😭 why would they edit it out

He was exposed now for being a misogynist way before this incident. I’ve never thought he was suitable for HC even before this, he already getting dragged on cn for his past remarks about women. Fortunately for him, he’s lucky he’s has a face that’ll let him carry on with his careeer despite all that, the current drama that’s airing also greatly helps blocking out what controversial things being said about him. He’s very lucky. Personally I’m not a fan but if he does something like this again since he doesn’t see to learn I’m afraid he won’t get another chance. All it takes for him is just one slip up for him to lose his career, he’s just now reaching the fruition of career, he should be mindful of his words and realize if you have past people WILL dig it up. He should be extra careful to keep a more liked character and favorable personality

Crazy to think the female lead filmed this as minor with her male lead lol and this is also her second show with the 2nd male lead I assume as a main lead so they must be familiar and they probably waited til she turned 18 or probably 19 in July before they decide to air it lmao. Although I definitely see in her future she will become the next major star if she plays her cards right and choose good projects in the future. She is young so now is the time to establish herself. She’s also very pretty looking at her previous works she just needs an agent to give her better scripts it’s an important time for her as she’s at the age now to take on main roles
