Zhang Mo must have some built up frustration, cus he’s seemingly a pushover and puppet deposed emperor but he kills someone quickly without thought. Like his expression every time is so unforgiving. His character is really interesting to me I wouldn’t put it past me if he was pretending to be a pushover.

Since Huai An dyed his hair grey does this mean his hair will remain this color for the rest of the show?

Can we talk about the torture methods here. Like being burned alive in a barrel is so gruesome. Like that guy was BURIED in a barrel and then his head burnt alive and that second guy was practically cooked in a barrel …and used as heat for a Bun… like it’s such a horrible way to die …I can imagine what kind of insane method to kill someone they used in this time period

Zhang Mo is serious about living long 😂if Huai dies then who will protect him he’s make sure he staying alive haha. I believe in Zhang Mo that our Huai A will have a good ending. Believe in the fortune teller that he lives until his 80 which means Huai An must also be alive to protect him for that long 😭a girl can hope

I’ve really come to love this trio, I hope they can all stay together in the end and Zhang Mo has really grown on me and I think Huai An cares about him to enough to want to trust him and I feel like he always testing him by giving him task that’s could jeopardize them if he decided to betray them randomly one day. Zhang no also seem to really care about him. But they are so funnny together the happy moments literally come from the 3 of them together so I hope nothing happens to them pls 🥹

Well I was about to say how much my heart aches for Huai A because he has to see Zhang Mo aka the deposed emperor and must conflicted every time he sees him but the comments say otherwise. So while you are on 11 and 12 people are just watching and 9 and 10 while you saw it yesterday and spoiled the reveals and I get some are watching on illegally or are paying legally for express eps which are 2 eps ahead but pls be mindful

Also I think Zhang mo aka the deposed emperor is quite cute, he had a moment of weakness and did something terrible and for that I just personally don’t think Huai An will let him go for it. Keep him alive enough for the sake of his revenge then when all is said and done he will take his life to avenge his page boy who did tragically at his hands. Unfortunately I don’t see him having a good ending no matter how well he redeems himself. Even Pu who had saved he never once forgot about his sin toward his father and I believe the same will apply to Zhang Mo, even if he learns to forgive him I don’t believe in his heart he can rest easy, when he thinks about his page boy

Does Huai A not know martial arts? Considering he’s a scholar. He really just stood there like 🧍‍♀️while the rest fought. Not to say he isn’t skillful he was definitely good at maneuvering his way out of harms way and seemingly has the ability to defend himself if needs to also has the skills to modestly kill someone like that old man but I don’t think he is particularly well versed in martial arts it’s seem. But knows self defense if that makes sense he can defend himself and take someone out when they’re caught off guard but is not overall a fighter?

Also, he looks gorgeous right now but I’m anticipating for when he gets the hairstyle that’s in the cover lol. I’m waiting for it so bad. Love ponytail cheng yi but his hair down looks even better

I think on a path to vengeance, whether he’s good or bad blurs the lines all for the sake of revenge. Not that he’s evil but just willing to throw away any type of morality for the sake of his purpose yet there is still such a gentle touch to him. He’s got such a dark atmosphere with such a chilling resolve. It’s so cool to see him like this. Need him to play more roles like this. Despite using others, he still values those around him. I can already see his goal is endgame, at the expense of his own life. Really excited to see where this goes. And bc I can already see it relationships made often end in tragedy, I really like Ye Zheng and I hope nothing happens to him in the future.

Oh Chengyi FINE AS F*CK in this, like is anybody else taken anway by his beauty especially with those dark eyes 😩I know a ponytail hate to see him coming 😫and this dark side full of vengeance is sooooooo GOOD. Also it seems a lot of our favorite actors are getting older. Didn’t realize he was 35. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any young breakout starts. All of them are getting older and I’m sad. I wish Cheng Yi stay young forever, I wish he drink from the fountain of youth like Lou Yun Xi and act for 10 more years

Why the break up in ep 16 😭😭😭 nooooo I need them together again

Do I started it currently on episode 16 and I’m loving it so far! Really glad I decided to give it a chance I won’t lie I really struggled to get past those first couple episodes but I persisted and I’m happy I did. I love the characters so much especially the relationship between Fang Doubing and Li Lianhua. I won’t lie though this current arc with Yuanbao is just dragging on and on like omg it’s been like 3 eps already but I promised myself I won’t drop it no matter what but I’m really loving it

I have trotted watching this 3 times and never make it pas the 4th episode it was also very confusing. Idk I wanna give it a chance but it’s kinda boring to me 😭I need some kind of motivation or something to look forward too to continue it everyone says it so good but I just can’t get into it
