Also I think Zhang mo aka the deposed emperor is quite cute, he had a moment of weakness and did something terrible and for that I just personally don’t think Huai An will let him go for it. Keep him alive enough for the sake of his revenge then when all is said and done he will take his life to avenge his page boy who did tragically at his hands. Unfortunately I don’t see him having a good ending no matter how well he redeems himself. Even Pu who had saved he never once forgot about his sin toward his father and I believe the same will apply to Zhang Mo, even if he learns to forgive him I don’t believe in his heart he can rest easy, when he thinks about his page boy

Does Huai A not know martial arts? Considering he’s a scholar. He really just stood there like 🧍‍♀️while the rest fought. Not to say he isn’t skillful he was definitely good at maneuvering his way out of harms way and seemingly has the ability to defend himself if needs to also has the skills to modestly kill someone like that old man but I don’t think he is particularly well versed in martial arts it’s seem. But knows self defense if that makes sense he can defend himself and take someone out when they’re caught off guard but is not overall a fighter?

I think on a path to vengeance, whether he’s good or bad blurs the lines all for the sake of revenge. Not that he’s evil but just willing to throw away any type of morality for the sake of his purpose yet there is still such a gentle touch to him. He’s got such a dark atmosphere with such a chilling resolve. It’s so cool to see him like this. Need him to play more roles like this. Despite using others, he still values those around him. I can already see his goal is endgame, at the expense of his own life. Really excited to see where this goes. And bc I can already see it relationships made often end in tragedy, I really like Ye Zheng and I hope nothing happens to him in the future.

Also it seems a lot of our favorite actors are getting older. Didn’t realize he was 35. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any young breakout starts. All of them are getting older and I’m sad. I wish Cheng Yi stay young forever, I wish he drink from the fountain of youth like Lou Yun Xi and act for 10 more years

Why the break up in ep 16 😭😭😭 nooooo I need them together again

Do I started it currently on episode 16 and I’m loving it so far! Really glad I decided to give it a chance I won’t lie I really struggled to get past those first couple episodes but I persisted and I’m happy I did. I love the characters so much especially the relationship between Fang Doubing and Li Lianhua. I won’t lie though this current arc with Yuanbao is just dragging on and on like omg it’s been like 3 eps already but I promised myself I won’t drop it no matter what but I’m really loving it

I have trotted watching this 3 times and never make it pas the 4th episode it was also very confusing. Idk I wanna give it a chance but it’s kinda boring to me 😭I need some kind of motivation or something to look forward too to continue it everyone says it so good but I just can’t get into it

I hate romance, recently Guardians of the Dafeng was the first cdrama I watched in years with a female lead who was a love interest and I loved how it wasn’t in my face but still enough to make me like them. It didn’t get in the way of the show either now I really hate romance that is like the central of the plot. I have never watched a show with Yun Xi before as he does slot of romance dramas but I do think he the most beautiful actor I’ve ever seen and I am quite interested in this show and will be my introduction to him but I really don’t wanna waste my time I really can’t stand the longing and yearning of couple. It’s fine if it’s there but I prefer it to be in the background. I really want to watch but too much romance will instantly turn me away and he looks gorgeous and this is becoming popular so I want to see it.

I have a problem and I am trying to fix it by watching dramas with a female lead and romance GOTD was my first and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So I’m hoping to find something like that here. I will watch the gist episode soon, I’m wondering if there are any central couples
