I hate romance, recently Guardians of the Dafeng was the first cdrama I watched in years with a female lead who was a love interest and I loved how it wasn’t in my face but still enough to make me like them. It didn’t get in the way of the show either now I really hate romance that is like the central of the plot. I have never watched a show with Yun Xi before as he does slot of romance dramas but I do think he the most beautiful actor I’ve ever seen and I am quite interested in this show and will be my introduction to him but I really don’t wanna waste my time I really can’t stand the longing and yearning of couple. It’s fine if it’s there but I prefer it to be in the background. I really want to watch but too much romance will instantly turn me away and he looks gorgeous and this is becoming popular so I want to see it.
I have a problem and I am trying to fix it by watching dramas with a female lead and romance GOTD was my first and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So I’m hoping to find something like that here. I will watch the gist episode soon, I’m wondering if there are any central couples
If they are continuing for season 2 as someone who read the book💀 I do wonder what they intend to with Huai Qings character or if they intend to keep Li an as the main female lead or will they follow the book and allow him to have multiple wives. Haruka too innocent cus like she just outed his secret and then double down on it by trying to explain to her crush 💀 like she’s too sweet she doesn’t think about how society might view hikaru or how someone could have a negative reaction she just assumes everyone would be okay with it, she’s too pure.
