I’m actually super surprised about the mother. This is the first time where I watched a drama where the mother of the male protagonist is strict and unyielding lol. It was very refreshing to see actually. This is the type of mother that gives a bit of realism in a super unrealistic show lol. Like she’s a tiger mom for sure and it’s so refreshing seeing the protagonist actually be obedient toward his parent lol.
Like I was definitely surprised when he didn’t fight back against her changing school lol like he was just gonna accept his fate lol. And he even has a curfew lol.
Bro I hate military enlistment 😭😭I’m liking minhyun so much only to find out he enlisted last year and isn’t discharged til September of 2025 🥲 I think I cried a little means nothing til 2026 and when he’s getting so popular. Enlistment is always entrapping people at there peaks!!!
Episode 39 put a rage in me I didn’t know existed I had to stop watching for a moment because I was so upset. Gosh that scene made my blood boil so much. He didn’t deserve that. This was the first time I cried genuine tears in the show. I don’t think I’ve seen cdrama that was so detailed in violence the way it was during that scene. It really made my heart ache and Im just so upset.

Like 30/100 is literally supporting and the characters don’t really officiate themselves til like ep 34 lol. She’s not even in the first 6 episodes and her screen times is no longer than 5 to 10 minutes or so every other ep . She appears more in later eps but it’s very sporadic. Her entire screen time all together would probably be the equivalent of one whole episode . Despite the limited romance it’s still very cute and mushy there screen time together is always enjoyable even if it’s short. You might find her annoying in the beginning but personally she grows on you and there relationship is very cute
This drama is not focused on romance like at all it’s very plot focused and around the mc. Romance is like a side thing. So if your looking for pure romance this isn’t for you
I hope I’m not tripping but doesn’t Tian Xi Wei look different starting from episode 34??? Like I stg something changed lol. She just look different from previous episodes although not a lot just slightly enough to notice a difference. The more I look it seems she lost a little weight in her face so hee baby face is slightly less than it was before. Anyways i was happy to see the relationship between Lian and Xu Qian finally established.
Mr Wei and xu qian have such a father son relationship. It was so cute seeing him kiss up to Wei after doubting him. He was so sulky he’s so cute I love them so much
As much as I love my xinnian I was so glad his mini 3 episode arc was over 💀😭I love him but it was definitely part of the most slower episodes still I’m happy for him
It’s seem that Dylan is not good at mandarin. I guess foreigners can’t tell since we don’t speak Chinese but so many Chinese comments criticize that he can’t speak well and how it’s unprofessional for an actor to not speak proper mandarin how it’s difficult to understand him. I didn’t realize but Dylan has so many haters 😭 saw a video on YouTube and all the comments are just criticizing him omg.
The craziest thing though was I saw a handsome boy on XHS and said he looked like Dylan want and he got so offended as if I called him ugly or something. Anyways I really love Dylan I became his fan really but it is really disappointing seeing how disliked he is with so many hate comments criticizing his acting and criticizing his speech.
I think Dylan is doing great he also has a lot of praise so I hope it does Affect him!
Omg did y’all see that rumor about dramas having a 12-16 episode limit 🧍🏽♀️historical dramas can barely fit everything in 40 episodes not imagine 16 omg. They’ll have to do multiple seasons or episode gotta be at least 1hr 30 mins. Imagine next season of dafeng is 16 eps long 🧍🏽♀️it’ll take like 9 season for them to fit everything. only a rumor though but it’s making rounds - I understand that this is because they want to reduce the amount of historical drama in favor for modern dramas but damn
