i feel like show runners had no overall vision.. like why is Sang Hyeon and Won Dae shown as two sides of a same coin (both manipulated and used ppl around them for their own gains) yet the show treats them both differently.. at the end Sang Hyeon gets his comeuppance while Won Dae is shown smiling and chummy with the ppl he manipulated??? like did i miss the part where he got a redemption arc? are we supposed to be fine with Won Dae's actions?
I need a separate drama for saxin and ben. They are so freaking cute, i love them!!!!!!!!!
hey.. i want to start this drama for them but i'm little confused. is the "death of a friend" mentioned in the plot synopsis benjamin?? or is it someone different
if you don’t know any others parts of the franchise, then it could be a bit hard to understand. Because this…
thank you so much for the reply.. yh the cast change also bothers me bcs it sometimes changes the character dynamics too but i will definitely be give this a try, now that i know where to start
im surprised to see how many ppl are adamant on labeling it as "bromance" which i would understand for the first movie but for the 2nd one... they both literally confess at the end and walk off the screen holding hand, i would say that is very much not something that friends do. As for "no kiss" complaints, their confession take place towards the end so im personally not bothered that there was no kiss scene and hopefully there will be a 3rd movie to rectify this
overall if you are someone who loves japanese food and seeing two boys completely devoted to each others well being and happiness, this is a good series to watch
Yu Le Xuan already found out when he saw her taking a bath in a small building, but he chose not to expose her.
it wasn't very clear to me. at first i was convinced he saw her but his demeanor towards FL doesn't really changes after that or confront her so i was really confused abt that whole scene. i just assumed maybe he was just embarrassed for spying on his "brother" while taking a bath
i very much love the dynamic of main grp and unlike other historical cdrama this one balance the anxiousness from the plot and light hearted moments very well for me. But im just frustrated with how none of the MLs have yet not found out abt the FL identity, like not even doubt abt it even after all those close calls??? i haven't watched the og KOR version so idk how its actually going to end. im really looking forward to see MLs reaction when they find out the truth and how that is gonna play out or are we going to have "i like you whether you're a man or an alien, i don't care anymore" moment like in coffee prince??? I would love it but not holding my breath for that one,
Regardless of how BL fans feel, it still factually features a gay romance.
it doesn't.. what it featured is potential at the most. yes both of them confess but neither does that in person or to each other. as someone who looks for MM relationship in tv shows that arent there for eye candy experience i very much loved the way waykim was portrayed(for most part) but that doesn't change the fact that "gay romance" tag works as a clickbait here. the show doesn't offer what the tag entails
it would be better if "gay relationship" is taken out of the tag for this series. WayKim truly never interacts as "boyfriends". it will just misleads ppl into thinking they have hope for a bl couple until the last episode.
disappointed but not surprised. They could have easily gave a happy ending for waykim by just saying his soul somehow returned bc of the "true loves kiss" but no... they had to do that. i also saw some ppl saying the last scene of kim is a hint that he could return if the show has a 2nd season, that would now be just plain stupid consisering they buried his body, what is he gonna do?? rise out of the ground like a zombie???
i solely came into this for the bl part but i quite enjoyed the whole series. I usually skip through series like this but that didn't happen for this one. from looking at the comment section there seems to be whole dispute abt whether this can be considered bl or not?? so let me just.. Way asking Kim out with "will you be my bf??" written in the football is the top bl moment in tv history for me. Yes, real Kim was not the one there but his confession was to real Kim and thats all my gay @ss care abt.. i don't expect WayKim to have a sequel or anything(honestly even though i enjoyed i don't want that) but i very much look forward to seeing Fluke in his own [bl] series..
i liked the cute romance in the drama, and the setting of it. Even though the bromance factor is less what i most like is the students interaction with ML and FL
the actor playing Ohm(tine's friend) is really cute, esp during the first club scene in Ep4 when they meet up with Sarawat's friends. i really thought he might get a romance storyline but its too late now ☹️☹️
