I've read the webtoon. I dropped this drama after the 1st episode. I've only been cringing throughout the whole episode. Leaving me unsatisfied. I have nothing against the actors, I like them all. But what is up with Cha Eun-Woo and Moon Ga-Young their acting? Maybe it's because it's hard to translate the characters in real life in a realistic way, I don't know. I don't think Moon Ga-Young fits her character. And for Cha Eun-Woo, I don't even know what to say, I don't think he did a great job with this one. Also I've have seen people complaining about the 'haters', I think people have the right to state their opinions. Just like how all of you like to say how much you like the drama, not everyone does and that's okay.
I do not mind the 3 seasons. I just hope this case will be wrapped up and that there will be new storylines. Because I don't think I can go on if they still trying to figure out who the killer is etc in the following seasons.
I hope Oh Yeen Hye isn't the murderer because a worse plot twist than this doesn't exist. I know the writer did this for the shock effect and the drama. Even I was very surprised. But I simply don't like this plot. It does seems that Oh Yeen Hye is the killer though (as they showed us how everything happened step by step before the murder happened unlike the others who thought they were the killer, we only had a glimpse of their flashbacks), which leaves me very unsatisfied.
Is it worth watching after watching sky castle, cause i feel like its somehow similar to sky castle .Is sky castle…
When watching this the only other drama I have seen similarities with is SKY castle: poor vs rich, school, status etc. But this drama Penthouse takes a whole different turn it's more dramatic, there's more violence, there's alot going on. (edit: SKY castle has more build up and is more calmer than Penthouse, while with Penthouse you need to pay good attention or else you get lost, and as the comment above mine says there's alot of pressure indeed.)
