I actually think he's trying to resurrect Devil God Tian Qi. In Ep 23, 27 mins in, Zhen Yu says that everyone believes the Diving Race to have perished but no one knows that he has been holding on to "His Lord's" power. Also the outline of that lord in the object, I'm pretty sure, he's talking about Fan Yue who is a Devil God. But I am not sure how CZ fits into all this. Is he another God or something else? Zhen Yu mentioned his Lord has a black mark over his forehead like CZ so not sure what the connection between ML and CZ is. Maybe I am wrong but I suppose let's see how the story turns out...
