I enjoyed the C-drama version….not sure why some people went in critical watching this version but I mainly enjoyed this because I saw the original. Original was certainly longer, very detailed and more impactful..so watching this made me understood their relationships much more even though story was shorten to fit in 16eps. It kept all the important parts and casts made it their own so it felt like I was watching a new story in a way. Casts for the Dads were perfectly selected for the roles angain…only a bit sad they didn’t showcased their journey from strangers to best friends along the way here….it was such a treat in the original. They literally were like a married couple bickering, dropping pay checks, cooking and cleaning together plus raising/ arguing over their kids 😂
Wish they clarified why Haejun rejected Dal though. Was it because he thought she was too hasty in her confession…

Forget Goodbye My Princess comparison, I was genuinely sad by the ending of that one. It was poignant, tragic…
Yeah it was bit hard understanding the first few episodes but if you watched closely the character growth on ML & those around him you’ll see that he slowly humanised himself by slowly accepting that he was capable of feeling love again after years of focus on revenge. The only thing I questioned was how quickly she accepted the ML after going through all that.

But Journey to Love- absolutely love the drama (surprised me heaps) and it wasn’t nessesarily a bad ending…more like the last few epsisodes was in survival mode for the casts. It felt like it was either too much happening or too little explanations….but the drama to me was worth the watch through & through
