This drama was rated 8.8 before it even aired….it’s ok.
Even if it goes down to 8.3 that’s already a high rate to be congratulated on for any drama for this site.
Get mad if it goes below 8….from the episodes available so far it doesn’t deserve anything below that.

I don’t know…I’ve been on other sites and although I felt that some drama ratings in here are bit exaggerated it’s still better than other sites out there.
I just divide it up to 3 groups
8 & above ratings is worth a look. Excessive high ratings I don’t quite understand is usually because of a popular actor or actress on top of a good drama. (The younger members usually loves these)
7- 8 ratings is ‘sometimes’ a gem…often rated low due to unpopular endings or unexplained plots holes.
Majority is just writing gone whack by halfway.
And 6 and below ratings….well this site was always right about them.

They did start doing a whole cleanse with the rating system & accounts from last year…too many people rate dramas too early on, the negatives were the worse ..judging a whole drama from watching 1 ep & it can be the same with the positive.
Not to mention a drama rated high yet haven’t started 🤦🏻‍♀️

People just need to chill unless they watched half-way or to the end.

The real villain here is old grandma with her spoons 😂

The writing………..tbh was a total mehhhh

lol not to mention the fight between the bad guy at the end…he appeared slowly floating up with his wings like the angel of death and the bad guy falls back scared and asked shaking “who are you”

Was the bad guy on magical steroids cause how he even manage to win is beyond a joke

Predictable & some plots directions don’t fit the characters but it definitely went beyond my expectations.
It was on my meh list too …glad I picked it up….actually enjoyed it.

Ep 23 is when they split Ep 31 is when they got back together….but from 23-31 is them slowly getting back together.
More him trying to get her back.

It’s superficial love…the memories were that of the deceased SHC.
The real chef SHC wouldn’t have loved or be loved by Hyejin…he would only know & trust the real love of his other wife and probably be happier with it.
If it had ended the way you wanted then it can only be betrayal…no matter how you see it he was willing to throw away his whole family that he was extremely happy with beforehand for another woman.
The ending is perfect.

Man I didn’t expect that and got smacked with red eyes… yet strangely was satisfied with the ending (her part) eventually.
I checked the sequel & realised I watched it ages ago with a bit of confusion…I gave it an average rating but I think i’ll rewatch it again.

Either Chat Jong Hyeop is be opting for short dramas or they’re rolling short around his busy schedule…and he sure likes the ones where his character uses a different language.
This is fine for a relaxing mind…go in with too much expectations and you’ll loose the enjoyment of watching something nice and simple…so I understand claims that it was slow for some.
All the characters interaction is one to be enjoyed and learned…I especially enjoyed Mr Kim’s role.
It doesn’t get a highest rate from me but it definitely doesn’t deserve a low one.
I binge this between some old favourite thrillers and it worked just fine.

Just watched the trailer on Netflix and the part where Mu Jin grabbed his wife from falling on his commemoration table got me laughing out loud from so much cringeyness 😂

Why do they even do this? People hate it.

Seen plenty with nice SFL with Feelings for ML…but viewers choose to forget them after the show or only see them as friends of FL in the end. Like this SML they had character growth.
A lot are choosing not to see this SML as friends of ML in the end but kept him noted as “annoying guy who liked FL”.

There are a few more I can think of but I won’t count them here because they ended up having their own love plot in the end of those dramas. But they all had feelings for ML and opted to be friends in the end and support the relationship of the mains.

So yeah my point stands…
Not that deep

Like I said it’s not even that deep as you all make it out to be. People can be friends with feelings as long as they never crossed the boundaries in the first place…they will get over it.
If they did date, kiss and ect then different story.

What is everyone’s issue with SML? It wasn’t even that deep & the guy knew his boundaries even though he was in love…hard thing to let go without turning into a psycho.
Would take this over the many evil second lead characters in most dramas.

lol this! Like the whole building blew up and collapsed…then in Season 2 where they went back they literally saw remaining walls of the building 😂

If you priotise romance just hold out till after the first 20 or so episodes on both Yanxi palace and Story of Minglan. Both of these are slow on this department but so worth it later on.
Both are like hidden gems, it starts slow but the more you watch the more you will obsess although Minglan i would say is one of the best well written drama plot I’ve seen in any Asian or western dramas.. but slow beginning that can only be enjoyed after a re-watch.
It has every topic and manage to make it look good from comedy to romance and even got me interested in war 😂

Same here..reluctantly started this to kill time and wasn’t expecting to love their chemistry
