that's impressive that you held out that long! it really is a very intense ride
I’m glad I didn’t watch it live…it’s a whole different vibe when you do. It’s so much more intense cause your mind is constantly on it weeks & days leading up to it. You can get so hype that a drama like this will hit & break you for a while.
I avoid tragic dramas like a plague but I read one comment saying it was a bitter sweet ending 🤷🏻♀️ so I took a chance…. After the roller coaster of emotions & honestly watching great chemistry that it felt so good to finally again enjoy a romance based drama after being turned off them for so long…I’ve come to the conclusion that the ending is so befitting that it made me happy finishing this! I’m gonna have a break from romance again after this but it was so worth it!!! If this is your genre & you’re still hesitating…Don’t! It’s not perfect & some parts can ‘slightly’ get irritating but considering that it’s based on past history, I would say it’s a perfect perspective of its events…especially the fact in history that he loved only her.

Right I was a complete mess start of ep 17…I was watching it at 3am & couldn’t handle it thinking I might wake up my little one sleeping next to me, so had to finish watching it the next day ….still didn’t help 😩
Hmmm that’s my exact thought for her romance in LLTG… I still loved the drama & rated it high, but I didn’t…
Yeah LLTG is a very good drama…The plot is so fun to follow, top it off it’s the same writer who wrote Minglan so you can’t really go wrong producing it but I just find their romance a bit lacking (not always) but then that’s just me finding YY In this drama more ZL’s type. Try it out when you have time…if you like this drama then you’ll also love LLTG
Yes true true but can’t deny that when he looks back he pictures the face he fell in love with. Associating sight with what you feel is a big part of falling in love
I’m rewatching and I still want to comment on how ridiculous the last 15-minutes is. The last fight scene nearly…
Lol yeah I tried to skipped but then I thought I missed something went back to re-watch it only to skip again..it was unbearable to watch..you’re right it was literally a cartoon. They hyped up the Moon Jade so bad just to end it with a cartoon fight 🤦🏻♀️
Gosh I can admit that it ain’t perfect especially her scenes in the beginning but it ain’t that bad enough…
I heard a few mentioned their lack of chemistry in the beginning but yes it’s defitnily there from midway onwards & it does get better. And yes the scenes you’re talking about were the ones that popped into mine when I read your 1st comment….it does get fewer throughout, thankfully they don’t do it much lol
Terrible cinematography and CGI made me drop this.
Gosh I can admit that it ain’t perfect especially her scenes in the beginning but it ain’t that bad enough to be noticed like that…it’s still better that 80% of Wuxia Fantasy dramas out there. But then again I was too busy enjoying their story.
Before, I didn't understand why historical drama or wuxia stuff is so popular but now I do after I finished watching…
Yeah Ashes of Love got me like that😒 In fact got me in C-dramas all together Didn’t help at all when without realising the next dramas i watched after that were even more addictive. - The Eternal Love - Eternal Love
Tried really hard to get into this drama but ended up dropping it after 10+ episodes. Maybe it was a bad idea…
Hmmm that’s my exact thought for her romance in LLTG… I still loved the drama & rated it high, but I didn’t feel strong chemistry between them. Here the writing of their romance ain’t completely perfect but you do see the chemistry once he admitted to himself that he liked her…his jelousy scenes are funny You can feel that they are actually attracted to each other & their scenes together seem natural. Their kiss scenes are realistic…lol like he’s been waiting for them. CP here is %100 better in my opinion
I get it when they do cliffhangers but this frustratingly go way beyond that! Talk about no closer whatsoever 🤦🏻♀️ Don’t get me wrong…I loved everything about it except that. How can you let us follow all them plots then go and finish the season with 90% of it no where near solved. At least kill the annoying bad guy, confirm an identity, see regrets from a parent’s decision or at least let us see a wedding…any wedding for that matter from any of the couples! Gosh the ones that were getting married didn’t even see or enjoy theirs. Those last 4 episodes were a disappointment. I can’t believe I waited all this time for this…but will have to admit that chances are I’m still willing to watch Part 2, but this drama takes too long for anything so I won’t be prioritising it & make myself wait weeks for an ep. I’m that upset that I’m planning to forget it & come back only when part 2 finish airing..maybe never…we’ll see
Really? Wow no wonder why…Minglan is my top costume drama of all time & I found myself entertained throughout…
Yes…Minglan emperor did pop into my mind when watching this…very rare to find understanding rulers in this type of long dramas & same here with the re-watch lol I watch Minglan every year once or twice since it’s been out!
Quick question, this drama has how many episode ? Someone mentioned that this has same author with Minglan, I…
Really? Wow no wonder why…Minglan is my top costume drama of all time & I found myself entertained throughout with this one as well. Minglan ofcourse has more depth…but you can’t mistake that both are great & unique dramas in their own rights & both dramas are acted out by my top 2 C-actresses 🤗 Love this little info
Clingy FL was getting embarrassing! How many times does he have to tell her to move on? 2nd FL was bad enough but really felt wrong how FL kept on running back like an obsessive little girl. Really hoped for a different ending by that point
I thought the FL always came in the way of ML although unintentionally but time and again she was proven wrong…
Absolutely not a good match…I have seen some of her other dramas & liked her in them so your right…their pairing is not compatible at all, no chemistry.
It’s so much more intense cause your mind is constantly on it weeks & days leading up to it.
