True, FZJ is quite influential… his parents’ positions in society doesn’t hurt either. It does seem cumbersome from LX’s pov, especially when he never let himself get affected by others and their issues. I think ZY was happy for more than just FZJ being exposed for his true skills. She seemed more happy when LX said he did it for love. 😁

Li Xun did nothing wrong by helping ZY in her revenge. She could not have foreseen such a future. Also, all she wanted was for FZJ to lose the prize, nobody told Li Xun to publicly destroy his reputation. Apart from this, everything bad that happened to Li Xun, was the fault of Gao and FZJ and their feeling of insecurity and privilege & entitlement respectively. ZY has only supported him in his endeavours to the point of going against the world for him.
In the novel they slept together that same night they became official (after the confession).
Oh rain definitely! Just wondering if I should be rewatching all my watched dramas... clearly I wasn't aware of this particular aspect of cinematic language... hahaha!

Whoa... wasn't aware of these signs! Especially the switch popping of the boiling kettle, which is interesting since a boiling kettle usually signifies increasing tension.
Okay so was the misunderstanding resolved or not? Because as much as I love the drama and our power couple, the…
I don’t think so, especially with the assumption of them living together and TXZ being with her in the hospital, taking her home and also telling LX that he won’t let him hurt her again … I don’t think LX is clear on that as of now :\
never ever seen a second male lead as screwed as Gao in this drama. The writers really made him a total jerk lol
I don’t see him as the second male lead, I see him as the main villain for the lack of a better word since villain seems too basic a term for him. The college life flashback was purely his origin story. FZJ, in comparison to him, appears to be more of a side kick. More aware and sharp definitely but still Gao’s sidekick.

Mixed feelings too, so happy but also so sad that it’s ending 😭😭😭
