I don't care if Love Next Door had any shortcomings. This is the Best SK drama of 2024, and no one can change…
Exactly! I don't know of any shows that are perfect... there is always scope for improvement, that's what makes art subjective.
This drama has been the ultimate comfort show, with such warmth, meaning and ideal casting. Honestly it deserves much more love that it is currently recieving.
Agreed, seeing how Moeum will leave for the South Pole as soon as next month, I am pretty sure the pair would be onboard for a quick wedding in comparison to what the mothers seem to be planning. π
I can't believe Love Next Door is officially coming to an end today. It is still vivid on my mind, just like it…
I have looked forward to this show since the lead pair announcement came out and I cannot believe it is already ending ! This drama has been such a comfort and a healing space for me personally, I am clueless as to how I am going to deal with weekends + Mondays at least for a while.
I have loved the refreshing personalities of the lead pair and amazing chemistry shared by all the castmates. The sweet plotline with its complex characters, subtle symbolisms and the influence of character history on the story has been such a heartwarming watch. Can't wait for ep. 16 so that I can start bingeing the show from start to finish. π«Άπ» π«Άπ»
Hope to see more of the lead pair chemistry soon whenever that is!
Jo Han Chul and Jung So Min 's father-daughter scene seems so natural and wholesome!
Jo Han Chul as Bae Geun Sik (Seok Ryu's father) showing multiple facets of a father and husband (sometimes warmth; sometimes hilarity; sometimes sternness and frustration), who just wants to live a quiet and happy life with his family has been a treat to watch !
Love the contrast in how Seok Ryu used to address her ex-fiance as HyeoJun-ssi and in present time called Seung Hyo a term of endearment... such a sweet scene
I laughed and cried on loop in this episode today. As adorable and hilarious the scenes today were, the rooftop heart-to-heart between the mothers while the others eavesdropped was such an emotional scene that I joined the sweet dads in shedding a few tears.
The undercurrent of misunderstanding between these two best friends has been visible since the starting of episode 1 - inferiority complex on Seok Ryu's mother's part and insecurity as a mother on Seung Hyo's mother's part.
Fights amongst loved ones is a given and nobody's perfect, I am just happy they love each other enough to fight for each other in the face of a gossiping bully and were able to literally sit down together and be vulnerable with their issues at the metaphorical end of the day.
Love how the mothers are awkward with their own kids but love each other's kid like their own.

I'M READY !
This has surely been a hit pairing.
