for those who are hesitating, it's still VERY worth it to watch this drama...just watch up to ep 34 and stop there LOL. The cast acting, the fight scenes, and the chemistry are amazing!

I like this one better! SOKP was harder to watch because it's honestly all talking lol and the romance didn't pick up until like the last 5 episodes? this one the pace is good, the romance is pretty fast but doesn't bore you at all, the plot is also pretty good so far

I think it's 9.2 because everyone just enjoyed this drama while it was airing. This drama had like no hype before, and the poster looks silly too so people were surprised that it was more than that. If you just binge, I agree that the story could have been a lot better but it was the anticipation/build up every week from the slow-burn romance, friendship and great chemistry from four leads that got people really like it. I'm concern that people might expect too much from a 9.2 Ratings and end up getting disappointed. After all, it's not a complicated drama with amazing writing, just a youth drama with a lot of heart. Also, This drama doesn't have the mainstream traffic that would skew the ratings since it's not on major sites like Netflix or Disney.
I'm sure Daddy Yichan remembers Eungyeol on the last episode after picking up the tape, and I just realized he already know what his son sounds like even though he lost his hearings TT_TT
"why was this rated so high?" - This drama started out with minimal promotion, mostly rookie actors except Seol in Ah hence there's no toxic fandom or haters to start out with, just pure audience who enjoyed the show. - The drama got progressively better and more touching. Parents couple chemistry is amazing despite not much screen time. - Bromance between main leads is nicely done - This drama made us appreciate our parents more <3

my god I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED THIS...she accepted this drama while filming woo young woo so maybe the habits is not out of her yet lol
