it's sooo lovely to watch a series that's purely slice of life, no drama, just sweet friendships and romance aaaa i love this sm!!! it doesn't feel slow or boring to me at all i'm enjoying it sm i'm at episode 12 after just a few days haha
After his fights always being almost elegant, tame, and well thought out, it was so satisfying to see him fight dirty at the end of episode 6 .. like yes gamin pull his earring out and kick them in the crotch <3 you go baby!!
I'm just starting this but I have to say... How could it gone so wrong if he studied so hard but even though he…
i think he studies wrong haha. Or despite the hard work his brain isn't wired in the typical academic school way.. you can see it in the scene in the first episode where he asks if the 0,9999 of the cake includes the cake on the knife.. he thinks too much outside the box :p
also shown when, in maths class he just writes down every single thing the teacher said instead of putting down concise, important notes about the actual relevant content.. he's not stupid but he simply doesn't think in the way the schools want him too :(
i really enjoyed this drama! i started the first 2 episodes while it was airing, but never continued it until this week. i really appreciate that it didn't fall into some common stupid tropes that i despise in romance dramas, for example : - although the leads started dating pretty early on, they didn't break up once. the intrigue for the remaining 8 ish episodes was not the failure of their relationship or some stupid breakup. - when i read the synopsis i thought that he would be the only one whose lies she can't detect, which is honestly a quite basic plot in a lot of power-based storylines. instead, he simply just doesn't lie to her. and it's what she likes so much about him. - the ML is flawed.. which was so so refreshing to see. i'm honestly so sick of the dramas where the guy is randomly good at everything like cooking, fighting etc. Doha makes mistakes and he's quite bad at a lot of things lolll i rlly loved that. it made him very endearing - the ML is sensitive!!! he cries, he's forgiving, he loves his friends so so deeply. but he's also strong and isn't a pushover. he fights for the people he cares about.
all in all i loved this drama and thought there was so much sweet genuine chemistry between hwang min hyun and kim so hyun
watched it while it aired and am still emotional over these characters :') no show has made me love both the main lead AND the second lead this much haha
