I've seen many negative comments so I want to add my positive intake! :)))
I was a bit unsure about the ending at first, but after thinking I realised I was satisfied.
She gave him a last chance, which makes sense because he's never truly done anything horrid to her. She can tell, with her own judgment, that he's capable of truly committing to her this time. She wants to try. He was toxic and manipulative and he didn't understand what it'd take to be in a relationship => until he met someone he didn't want to lose. So he realised he needed to change (a bit too late in my opinion but it's a drama so everything is overly dramatic and stretched out). Not everyone grows up in a happy family and knows how to express their feelings. He needs her but she needs him too, to push her out of her comfort zone. Moreover she never got full closure before, so even if they end up breaking up, it'll give her a chance to completely get over him!
However i haven't seen many comments about just how revealing the epilogue is!! the way he wants to adopt a cat with her (idc if it's a joke or not, it shows commitment), the way her style changed... + she used to get extremely jealous whenever she'd see him glancing at another girl , yet at the end she sees girls asking for his number and it doesn't even faze her = this means he hasn't been giving her a reason to worry ab anything. he's been keeping his word.
I understand why people hate Jae-Eon and frankly I hated him for the same reasons but this show is about how they grew together and managed to overcome their flaws together. Some people say she never changed and kept on picking sh1tty guys but I think this drama is about how Na-bi manages to finally do what she wants to do. She'd always get pulled into things, she'd just follow. This time she wanted Jae-eon, and she wanted a committed relationship with HIM. no one else. So she pulled him back in.
yeah but it's 20 minutes long episodes so I almost expected it to move quickly I guess...
I see what u mean though, I do hope they don't get together too quickly. Right now he likes her and knows it, whereas I think she's not fully aware of her own feelings yet. I think it'll take 1-2 episodes for her to realise and by then it'll already be episode 7!!
i really enjoyed watching this drama even though many elements in it deceived me.. There were far more good things than bad things so even if I could get frustrated at times, I still really liked it and would recommend it for people who usually like this genre
i think in the drama, it was supposed to be understood that he liked Young Ran but never tried to be with her cause he'd never have the time to be with her.
However, in the webtoon, Nam soo hyun is gay and ends up with yeo joon's big bro... I think the writers didn't want to include a BL but also didn't want to make Nam soo hyun's ending completely heterosexual ?? i don't know but i'm happy they at least didn't make him end up with her, even if I absolutely love her character
the ending was so gay i can't ?? yeo jun and soo hyun rlly wrote an entire script ab their friendship but turned it into a romance???? fruity as hell
+ although i feel sad for young ran, i'm happy they didn't completely straightwash soo hyun + i find it pretty realistic for him to focus on his studies and work (just cause he became more open and friendly, it doesn't mean his schedule magically cleared up)
i'm disappointed by how little they talked about So bin's issues at the end, her mother and the divorce wasn't mentioned at all in the last episode? i kept waiting for it but she only got a scene with chan ki
