your review is so well written and i agree with you, but then i also don't, because i enjoyed watching the drama so much. I liked the story line and the filler episodes even if they didn't fill out the "good drama" criteria

i agree! a lot of people say they got bored but i'm in love with the story and the characters. I rlly hope the ending is well-written though, happy or not, because i'm afraid of a weird forced ending that will ruin everything

the whole contract thing is so confusing if you don't pay close attention to the first episodes hahaha so if you're starting now, i advise you to be focused

i think it's gonna have a happy ending since the "worst" or the "climax" or whatever happened in episode 14... I'm rlly happy about this lol

i love the script, the weird vibe and the imperfect characters (+ song kang and han so hee are legit just nice to look at cause they're so beautiful)

don't trust the lower ratings too much, it's 100% possible you'll absolutely love this drama (it became one of my favourites). it's chill and slow, and the characters are so well-developed ... the main couple is adorable as well

i finished it last week and i loved it!!! i didn't expect much from it and ended up being more than pleasantly surprised

yes i agree, i think this drama is all about the script + people + scenery

a lot of people say this drama is draggy, but it was never supposed to be super dramatic... I think a lot of the scenes just made me think a lot, and i really like the characters. the visuals are also incredible, i think some of the shots they filmed are genuinely beautiful. i love myeol mang and dong kyung's relationship/dynamic, and I think the supporting love triangle allows the story to be slightly more grounded.
as for the ending, i keep getting scared lol

the scene where hee tae's little brother sees his own father in the street during the shootings.... my heart broke
