What about Yod Nok's so-called girlfriend? How does than pan out?
Yod got molested by a gangster towards whom her dad had debts and got pregnant. She then got Chanok drunk and pretended they slept together to have him take responsibility. He reluctantly broke up with Wansika but later, he got shot by the gangster who had learnt Yod was pregnant with his kid. Chanok then understood everything and broke up with Yod because he didn’t want to steal someone else’s baby and he knew nothing had happened between he and Yod. He got back with Wansika and Yod pretended to kindly understand but actually planned for her revenge. She hired two thugs to kidnap Wansika but what she couldn’t have planned is that one of the two thugs would realize that Wansika was the daughter of the man towards whom he had a big debt of gratefulness. So he not only helped Wansika escape and even died to save her. Later, Yod got arrested for having tried to kidnap Wansika
I know, it’s just that her performance left a BIG impression on me so I would feel weird if I were to see her as a nice female lead (especially because her character tended to see herself as a persecuted female lead while she would think the real female lead was the villain who would steal everything from her)
Lol, Shen Zhen became Ye Lin’s sister and finally became the noble lady she wanted to be 😂 (only those who watched Mountains and Oceans will understand my reference)
Although I loved these two actors, I just can’t get myself to ship them or even picture them together : it’s just that Guan Xiao Tong has such a youthful look, she doesn’t seem to be more than 18 years old while Han Dong Jun looks very mature, like a 30 years old man (and he’s about to be). I know that they actually have a few years of difference but when I picture them together, I feel like reliving the Goblin main couple But who knows, maybe I'll feel otherwise when seeing them together

Another major difference : in the 2007 version, although Singhkorn had an affair with Net, he also has a growing mix of love and obsession for Naen Also, Pacharee, Kachane and Dan are not there (except for Pacharee but her part is almost nonexistent) Net doesn’t have a cousin who helped her once fake a miscarriage She ends up dead, not in jail and has nothing to do with the death of Naen’s parents Naen doesn’t have a long lost brother Paul has a childhood friend who’s in love with him and that he used at some point for his revenge And his stepfather never gets murdered by Net
