I think it's important to remember that Albert likes Jang-mi, not Geum-bo. The real Geum-bo is actually quite prickly, nerdy, and by-the-book. Remember, her nickname is "The Witch." She's a much better match for President Shin.

IMO the FL makes him dumber.

It wouldn't necessarily be inconsistent, it would show that he has no idea what the heck he wants (which imo is true)

Other dramas have done this, though, with the same result: 2ML realizes he liked the FL all along, no one roots for the 2ML with the FL and everyone just ends up resenting him.

It's more likely that Seon-u is going to realize how much Ha-yeong meant to him after she's gone, because that's exactly what happened with Da-rim.

Hopefully her giving up will make him realize what he's missing and go after her

Totally agree with all of your points. I'm glad I wasn't the only one annoyed by the ML and 2ML's behavior during that interview. SUPER childish, and not to mention unprofessional.
