They didn't really put down his character, he made a mistake but it wasn't black and white awful, he just wasn't really thinking and he didn't know it was Ja-yeon on the other end. He was never really an option because he didn't have feelings for her.

They barely qualify as secondary, but Ji-wan and John Jang from Love is for Suckers by far deserved their own series. Most of us only kept watching it for them
